He's been a complete bust up until about a month or two ago. Now he looks like a prospect.
I always distrust players who show great improvement RIGHT before their contract is up. Bonzi Wells syndrome, tbh.

I see this guy as the perfect Kawhi backup, tbh
I like him on a cheap, longer-term deal. Give him some time to grow in the system. I'd rather have him than a older vet.
I agree, and there's still some untapped potential.
Another young cheap option for that backup 3.
If we can afford him would be a good pickup to spell Kawhi. Are there any rumor deals out there on him?
this guy seems like a bust to me. lemme tell ya why...
he was drafted really high by minny. didn't have a great rookie season. couldn't understand why, maybe cause it's just minny. so, i thought he would be due for a break out sop re year. instead he was the biggest disappointment of my fantasy roster, that year. and let me say that was a tough accomplishment... that roster had mavericks odom!
i watched him knock down a nasty game winning three in the at&t center. but he'll have to make a few playoff game winners to rectify, in my eyes. he seems like a bust.
He is my top pick among the players Spurs could realistically signed with a min contract.
Took so much trash after his rookie season, but Minny was never able to use him properly (trying to use him as a SG handling the ball was a horrible mistake)
He has good size and athleticism to become a good perimeter defender and even thought he was ever able to shoot really well from deep, his release is actually good. No doubt in my mind he could improve it.
If SA goes to the young route to take a backup SF, he would be my favorite as well.
He could start on the Lakers at this point. He'll probably prefer that option over Spurs bench.
The spurs roster is complete..Spurs are done this offseason
This was an interesting read about the guy: http://www.brightsideofthesun.com/20...wesley-johnson
I forget he was the #4 overall pick in 2010 smh. Adelman liked the guy at least.
Has anything happened with this gent yet? Of what remains, he seems like the best solution to the back-up 3 position, but perhaps the FO is now waiting to see what shakes loose in SL play?
Either that or they're trying to see what they could get in either a Blair or Neal S&T. (I'm not buying the "we want Neal back" talk. RC just trying to stir up interest.)
Me neither.
he would be a much better roster fit than Neal from a need perspective
One year deal with Lakers
