Apparently, Andre Iguodala was one hour away from signing with the Dallas Mavericks before the Golden State Warriors ironed out a deal to land the coveted free agent instead.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle:
Finally, an hour before Iguodala was to sign with the Mavericks, the Warriors made two concessions in the deal with Utah and were able to send Jefferson, Biedrins and Brandon Rush – along with two first-round picks and two seconds.

Why are ppl making Iggy out to be some star player? He's basically a decent #3 option with good defense. All this talk of him being some big time FA signing is stupid.

Dallas was actually better off not getting Iguodala, dude's a third option at best on a contender but getting paid way too much, tbh....

He would've been the best Mavs player on the team, huge lost tbqh.
There were rumors linking him to Dallas as early as 3-4 years ago tbh. But I've never fancied this player and I believe he would have a hard time adapting to them Mavs for his mediocre outside game, he was like the best 3pt shooter in Denver last season with Gallo injured but it doesn't say much. Iggy has been known as a below-average shooter career-wise.
