It's a pretty impressive stroke...something Dwight doesn't have in his game...being able to knock down a 15 ft J is going to be huge for us...in fact outside of Shaq (who didn't need a jumper) there's been no big man in the history of the game that couldn't shoot that 10-15 jumper except Dwight...

Check out these Kamen highlight...he's going to be a nice surprise addition for our offense....

i used to think kaman was good too cuz he put up good numbers everywhere he went but its quiet stats. a 16-10 game from him is the quietest 16-10 game youll ever see. Not to mention he is a blackhole on offense and tries to take over.

He does have a post game though which is something most big men of today can't say they have imo.

Yeah Kaman's stats are super deceiving. If you watch him for an entire game without ever checking the box score, you think "Kaman hasn't done all night" but then his stats say he put up 14 and 8.

he won't get a chance to get quiet stats with us...not playing with Nash and Kobe..he's gonna have to produce with those guys on the floor and Gasol will be feeding him...he's going to avg about 12-15 a game for us which is all we need from him to make some noise....

no offense..but you guys had no rhyme or rhythm to your offense last season...guys were just running up and down the court...no one ever knew what the offense was...so it's not fair to judge his game negatively in that Dallas offense....that offense was horribly coached last season

He's also a chucker tbh.....ever since he "developed" a midrange shot a few years ago he hasn't found a midrange jumper he didn't like.

Kamen is a flat out better player than Demarcus Jordan...flat out better baller...in the post and from the outside...I would even say he's better defensively...

Kaman is garbage. He has some nice tools, but he turns the ball over a ton. Doesn't know how to pass out of the post and takes a ton of bad shots. Dominates the ball once he gets it. Defense isn't that good either. He does rebound well and can hit the midrange jumper. But once he gets the ball in the post, trouble happens.

what you guys fail to realize is that it's all about systems...He doesn't have to be a great post passer because Dwight clearly wasn't all he needs to do is compliment Gasol who's the best at it..and he will learn from Gasol...again how can he dominate the ball in LA...you do realize there is a pecking order right? that Dallas team had no discipline...Dirk was missing for most of the season so Kamen had free reigns....I'm sure he doesn't get stripped as often as Dwight does...I'm sure of it..Dwight was stripped on about 40% of his possessions which is very high... I will concede the defense point but all we need is a few blocks here and there as a stop gap measure...Pau will be expected to pick it up for us...

if the Spurs can make it with Cuckkan and Splitter the Lakers can make it with Gasol and Kamen...and yes Kamen is 10X the player that Splitter is and there's no disputing that...

I like Caveman's game. I could see him giving us about 10/8/1 off the bench in MDA's system. He should be able to help keep Pau's playing about 32-35 mpg.

Duncan and anyone would make a great front line, he won a le with Rasho playing next to him

Bottom line: Kaman is old and soft, and you'll be off the bandwagon by the tenth time he passes up a dunk for a soft missed layup....
