Someone took Royce White. At least De Colo can actually travel with the team.

De Colo was horrifying and his trade value is in the toilet. I knew Thomas was a good shooter, but I was impressed with his touch off the glass and ability to score in close.
DO NOT RE SIGN NEAL DO NOT RE SIGN! PLEASE DO NOT.
De Colo tanking on purpose so the spurs can't use him in a trade. he knows he's being showcased.
and if thomas can play like that consistently i see a role as an nba player for him. that guy is solid. good rebounding, polished is an understatement on offense, and he seems like a spurs-mindset/spurs material type a guy.
Thats why they gave us a B+ on that second round and a D on the first round as experts would say! I hope he can continue it and make the team this year! WE need a backup SF and he might fit the mould! I hope he can make it.
yeah how funny is it that out 2nd rounder is more polished than the 1st rounder? i really like what i see so far. hope he can make the same impression in training camp.
wish baynes was more impressive looking -- good not great. but cojo looks real sharp, passing well out of the trouble he gets himself in, decent shot selection and very good handles. he was worth the time invested imho.
could see a depth chart like this next season:
PG: parker, cojo, de colo
SG: green, beli, mills
SF: leonard, manu, thomas
PF: duncan, diaw, pendergraph
C: splitter, bonner, baynes
^i know that's off, just trying to feel out some of the personnel. clearly some of the spots and roles will switch around..
Baynes to me in here is way overhyped and very limited! But he can play in spot minutes and against bigger guys to either foul or play them on the block! Bigger teams he can play against IMO. But he is not going to be a saviour of any kind. CO JO keep it up man! He is very very young and can only get better! I love the fact he can be the backup PG this year and hope he gets it. I hope Thomas can make the team though and I am serious! I really hope he continues to impress and makes our final roster spot, lord knows we need a backup SF in the worst and he might be able to snag some mins there.
I don't understand the joke...![]()
NDC laying bricks all night...
Oh okay, I thought there was more to it than that. Thanks.
well, i can think of some times where thomas can be on the floor with cojo, manu, and marco (against the small ball lineups of a GS for instance where they may have a smaller PF on the floor)
Anyone else touch the floor? Looks like pretty much the same rotation from game 1. Spurs will keep De Colo
I doubt spurs even know if they will keep him yet
You could be right..He has fallen back at the pg position and I dont expect him to see many minutes at the 2 either with all the depth at that position also.
Thomas seems really comfortable in the pick and pop game and he comes across as the type of player that can get over bad shooting stretches (started first game 0-3).
Still early for everything but 100% (4-4) FT shooting is nice as well.
Not exactly a towering sample size.
But it still beats not being 4-4.
you and your "freedom fries."
