the florida self defense/stand your ground law needs to be changed, period. its flawed and set up so cowards can start fights with complete strangers and in some cases, children and get away with murder if they feel their life is in danger at any time. i can't believe ya'll don't see how ed up that law is.

I have plenty of friends. Many of them happen to be black. More agree with Lupe Fiasco than those burning flags. People's issues are these "protesters" saying they are standing up for the system when they have been absent for forever when other races are victims or when it would mean hurting one of their "own"

people have been saying it for the longest but the media didn't care until they had the right case. sean bell, oscar grant, abner louima, amadou diallo all suffered a similar fat as trayvon and had protests in their honor, rallies and tears were shed but the national media didn't bother covering it. their killers were police officers and watchmen and they were all acquited and only one served a 2 year sentence.

I know nothing of your neighborhood. The neighborhood I grew up in by Madison HS was almost a perfect blend of white/black/mexicans and never heard of one black kid getting looked at but not me or my mexican buddies.
There are tons of variables so there is no real good way to measure. Just assume. Which you are doing alot of. The only real way is to put a white kid walking with a hoodie at 3 am in Zimmerman's neighborhood, that he's never seen.
