No , and what about that "star witness"? What help was she to them? I wasn't following the case, but one day I caught the day's proceeding recap on NBC, I think, and it was the testimony of the girl who was talking to Trayvon on his cell that night. Did they just not prep her in ANY way? I was really shocked by what I saw of that testimony, and it amazes me that the prosecution thought that an almost adverse witness was going to help them----or are they that incompetent and their entire case was all so poorly prepared?

They prosecuted the case because politically they had to. They never had the evidence to convict, they knew they didn't have it, but they had to go through the motions.

GZ will still end up either being executed or getting life in prison. DOJ will nail him on federal hate-crime charges. The feds have a great deal more la ude in controlling the outcome of a trial than states do when the outcome is politically important.

Ive heard of people that were convicted on MUCH less evidence. How does murder after losing a fight with a teen not seem like enough evidence?
