ok was i the only dumbass who thought, based on the thread le, that it was about don nelson?
dwight howard aint the type of player fans should get salty about, dude got regulated by aaron gray FFS![]()
that sig cracks me up every time![]()
Nelly just a notch above Solja Boy ...who actually follows Nelly?!why not follow petey Pablo or Mystikal if u wanna follow some two hit wonders with limited skills..
Truth hurts dont it?
Nelly with the surprisingly knowledgable goods, tbh..
Why do people feel the need to talk about Nelly's career? That's not the topic nor the point of the thread and what was said.
I already exposed Kobe's numerous lies too. He said "he can't follow people on twitter that he knows want to be the Lakers". Well, he follows Cuban and Anderson Varejao in addition to other NBA players![]()
Watching the Lakers the next few years is gonna be hilarious. Nelly bringing it
I'll ask you the same question Nelly dodged: Does Shaq 3-peat without Kobe? Before you answer that, remember who used to blister that Spur ass just to get to the Finals. Or the Blazers. Or the Queens... because if you replace Kobe to prop up your theory that Shaq would have won with anyone else, I'll need statistical proof. I don't know of any player that was in the NBA that would have done the same damage on both sides of the floor the way Kobe did until Shaq was evicted. Candidates: T-Mac, Grant Hill, Penny, AI, Vincanity, Bron, Wade.
Fact: Kobe was a better overall player than all of them at that time.
Fact: Since The Big Eviction! Kobe: 2, Daddy: 1

Kobe was never as good as Lebron is now. But to your point, Kobe did play the #2 role well. No one is arguing that.
Lebron struggled to defeat the Spurs. Kobe has easily defeated the Spurs with much less talent. Lebron will never reach Kobe's talent level and clutchness.
I think Shaq threepeats with a high school OJ Mayo instead of Kobe tbh. Any decent 2nd banana gets him the 3peat
You act like Kobe was #2 in every single series. I know this is a Spur board, but that's disengenuous DPG. I know for a fact that while TD and Robinson held Shaq in check for the most part, it was Kobe that went bonkers leading to you guys going out to get Bruce Lee Bowen.
And the bolded is very debatable. Even MJ himself picked Kobe over LeBron. Say what you want about LeStats but he had to collude to win. You're thoughts of him likely diminish if 6 never happened. But your boys ed up and let him off the hook. He should buy Ray Ray a Bentley.![]()
Don't have me get Kool to post Kobe highlights of destroying the Spurs.
You telling me any 2nd banana gets Shaq through the WC - including your Spurs?![]()
Not to mention... a prime Kobe destroys Dallas on every level. Prime James doesn't even reach his average in one single game.
It's funny that people prop LeBron up for making it through the Leastern Conference in 2007. When he played the Spurs, he was swept - and no one said . He colludes to play on a stacked team, now he's the best thing since sliced bread. If we won in Cleveland - a team that was built around him - I'd give him his props. But he didn't.
You are looking at box score stats. The fact Shaq had the other team's most dominant players giving him all the attention, in addition to him being an elite passing big man, is the reason Kobe at times appeared to take the lead. It was all driven by Shaq being the man and doing what it took to win (score, pass, draw attention...). That's not to say Kobe was not great/is not great, but that is the honest truth - take it for what it's worth.
MJ has proven himself to be one of the worst talent evaluators of all time. That is not hyperbole either.
Lakers team this year had every bit as much talent if not more and they barely made the playoffs with Kobe having one of his best seasons ever. That tells you about Kobe's impact.
Lkrfan getting his pushed in per par, bringing skittles to a gunfight etc...
Kobe was a lucky as Tim Thomas 3ptr away from a major upset of the heavily favored and stacked Suns. This with Kwame as his center, Smush at the 1, Cook at the 4, etc. That was a putrid supporting cast to say the least. Question of the day, where are the players that Kobe was made to play with at now? Other than LO, are any of them in the league? Tells you what Kobe had to deal with. Impact.![]()
