Robert Horry
Here you go guys. Remember, go deep and up and down...not across.

Robert Horry
He had a decent game or two in the finals but his D was pretty bad. Pop exploited that well. Two decent games in the finals made folks forget that Miami was trying hard since last year to drop the guy (amnesty or otherwise). Think the spurs have enough shooting to do without.
People are saying he won't clear waivers? What team with cap space remaining will actually bid on him though? I'd be surprised if he didn't clear waivers. Most teams that have cap space left are lottery-bound teams that would have no interest in a nearly-done Mike Miller taking minutes from their young guys.
I'd welcome him at the Spurs. Someone that can come in for 10-12mins per game and hit some shots. Would be for the vet minimum. Could teach Kawhi a few things, high character guy. Little to no risk. We could do worse...
He should. Anyone wanting to pay him any more than minimum with that damaged back is nuts.
Logically, yes.
Emotionally, the bastid.
True, but for 12 to 15 minutes a night you'd need him to shoot and rebound. If that, because I'm sure Pop will show some 3 guard lineups next season. He would fit. It would suck, but he would fit. And the Spurs have had interest in him before.
Look, if we can embrace Robert effing Horry as a Spurs legend anything else is possible.
It's amazing how a basically crippled, one-shoe Miller can make 3's in clutch time but a fully healthy Bonner with wide open looks cannot.
Clutch gene? Experience? Having a pair of balls? , Mike Miller even hit a few floaters on us in Game 7 I believe. He blocked Tiago Splitter LMAO.
yep! i guess i should rephrase... I initially have a problem with it. once they've been integrated as a Spur, most have turned out to be some of my favorite spurs players![]()
He spreads the floor??
Yes, please. Miller can play the back up pg, he's a deadly shooter from anywhere. Think of him as a more versatile Kyle Korver.
Damn, watching those highlights brings back some bad memories of what he did to us in the NBA finals. I remember the dude shot a couple of floaters on us, something that Danny Green failed to do. Seriously, Danny Green needs to develop a floater or something to be somewhat lethal like Ray Allen.
Whaaaaaa?
Am I the only one who saw a broken down one trick pony that can't play defense? His last 4 seasons he has played in 54, 41, 39, and 59 games. Do not want.
As a back up SF? yes. Problem is, he becomes one of the guys you constantly rest.
Eh, he's not ideal, but I'd take him, tbh...
That's because you never actually watched the Heat. I'm a bit of an NBA fanatic, and I watched all of the Heat's games. When Lebron, Wade and Chalmers all sat out, Miller played the backup pg. Watch the highlights that i linked to in my previous post.
I love Mike Miller since his Memphis Days, always thought he was a remarkable shooter, don't think the Spurs would get him even if he was available which he won't be.
I watched the video you posted and watched several Heat games this year and still think you are crazy if you think Mike Miller can be the backup PG. Every time he gets bumped you hold your breath. He shoots fgs in the low 40% range. I just don't like the player at this stage of his career and don't think he can be healthy enough to be reliable in any sort of meaningful role.
Miller!!
he deserved it!!haha
The result of killing us with that ing rebound!!
Dont sign this ing guy!!
i hate spurs signing those guys who costed us a lot before!!
Release Bonner, and sign him for as little possibible.
At least he he hits 3s, and has an ACTUAL IMPACT where it matters, the Finals, even if's only for 15 minutes.
Those 15 mins were the difference between the Spurs being champs, and runner ups.
If hed take a min.deal knowing Miami still paying him I'd b all for it
Seriously, no.
He can barely walk.
Sure, but other than that he should be a great fit....
If he can rack up 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in his "barely walking state", then I can't wait to see what he is capable of doing when fully healthy. Besides, a crippled Mike Miller is still more useful than Matt Bonner.
