Drew Gooden never played here though. That was Carlos Boozer.
OP should be banned after this tbh.

It was pretty impressive how Gooden learned the whole system in just the 23 games he played here.
it'd be nice to have Boozer back on the team
No.
i can't stress enough how much of a nightmare the udoka-gooden combo was for me..
No. Can't defend, doesn't fit our team. If he did we wouldn't have let him go in 2009.
Well, he does know the system and we all know it takes at least a year to catch on to the Spurs system.
Didn't we already try this a few years ago? GTFO, Gooden, tbh.
Why bother? Pop will sit any good big in the last minute of anyway.
I may be in the minority, but I think Gooden would be a good bench big. He'd be a great source of offense for a unit that really needs to get more of it. He's a bad defender, but that shouldn't be so bad next to Splitter and Duncan.
I'm not saying bring him in at all. There are too many bigs on the roster as it is. But had the Spurs amnestied Bonner and not signed Pendergraph, I think I would have liked Gooden as the fourth big.
We should not let Boozer go in the first place - imagine Paul George & Boozer on same team !
I cant find the thread, but the OP once started a thread asking why we let Carlos Boozer (Drew Gooden) go.![]()
Cutting Pops' scrub ass was a mistake?
