I'm just curious why you are so insistent that there are no black kids at this camp when there are obviously transgendered blacks in society. Why do you think a camp like this is predominantly white?

I do have a son. He plays football, baseball and soccer. He is a really good artist and musically inclined. He doesn't have a girlfriend, but he's only seven. He is the love of my life and nothing would ever change that.

You're the one objecting to my post. You've never heard of gay men acting like women? That's the way most people see gay men. You know why? Because that's how most of them act. You can pretend that's not true all you want, but you're just lying to yourself.

From what I've seen it's pretty even. Maybe Austin is completely different than the rest of the country in that regard, but I doubt it. There are a lot of gay men who are just regular guys for the most part. A lot of people only notice the flamboyant, effeminate gays for obvious reasons and that's how they characterize all gays. People do the same thing with blacks, mexicans, asians etc. Most people just pick out the things that annoy them or make them uncomfortable about certain groups of people and make broad, sweeping, stereotypical generalizations about all of them. It's human nature to marginalize things we aren't comfortable with.

Would you be disappointed if your son was bad in school, a bully, had a drug/alcohol problem? Of course you would, does it have anything to do with your love for him...of course not.

All those things are mistakes that most kids make and not at the core of who they are as a human being. You know the difference.
