did you really feel like it was over though? i know a lot of people online were supposedly euphoric before Pop and Manu made their mark in history. Personally, I never felt good about game 6, even with :28 seconds. like
timtonymanu said above, i was texting similar things, I just didn't feel confident about this game. Why? I'm not sure. Part of it was the nature of the series, how it was back and forth, so I figured game 6 would be a tough obstacle to overcome since game 5 was ours.
Also, there were minor things that bothered me leading up to the game, gut feelings I couldn't shake. Watching Pop at one of his press conferences, I just didn't have confidence in him. I'm not a Pophater either, but seeing how he acts sometimes, you realize he bullies people in the press because most likely of a deep insecurity over being questioned. Also there was Parker, when asked about Green's performance, he said some pissy like "yeah i can't believe they are letting him get so open." Just a moment where you realize he isn't a natural leader. So like Shaq said, and i agree with, if the general don't panic the troops won't. So before this game, I wasn't feeling confident about the so called leaders of this team.
Tbh, the only reason we made it this far is because of the emergence of Kawhi and the resurgence of Timmy. Both of them were beautiful to watch and I'll always appreciate that.
