Answer my question and ill answer yours.
It's not about having the better PG, it's about having a PG that fits the team well. I've already said Rondo is an overrated stat padder. It's pretty bad when Lin is the better spot up shooter. Rondo would not fit the team. Now answer mine.

This is like talking to Avante I swear

Ray and Doc both wanted to fight Rondo because....they didnt get along lol. Howard has a history of not getting along with people yet that "cancer" is still going to make us better because he is better than what we have/had

Just like Rondo is better than what we have.

All those shooters on the Rockets and you're worried about Rondos shooting?

Did you not see Lin in the playoffs?!

    1. Howard never had anybody want to fight him. The head coach no less. (Edit. Wrong on my part. Jameer Nelson. )

    2. Chris Paul is better than what we have, that doesn't mean he'd be a fit with Harden dominating the ball

    3. With Dwight in the middle getting double teamed, the PG has to be able to be a spot up shooter, like Chalmers. Rondo can't ing shoot!

I agree with djohn. Rox have some great talent. Now the "fit" is more important than just acquiring talent. Lakers of 1998 -1999 is a perfect example. More talent than 2000 Lakers but the pieces did not fit, our coaching was mediocre and we needed Kobe to mature (harden is the young Kobe) and Shaq to focus (cough Dwight). Not saying either is as good as the Shaqobe pairing but the smilarities are there. Not sure McHale is the coach to lead yall though. But if Rox want to win dat chip Role players that complement that core is more important thna getting Rondo tbh.

With dwight being doubled that means one of the other(shooters) are open. Is Rondo not good at passing?

Harden used to play with Durant and Westbrick, he dominates the ball cause he plays on a garbage rockets squad.

The PG still needs to hit shots.

Yeah exactly. A stretch PF would make more sense than Rondo. The sense is that the Rockets feel they have a deal for Aldridge. But IDK.

Suspect, Rondo has value and in many ways is an upgrade on Lin. Problem is if you run pnr with rondo and Dwight the defense will sag to the middle and pray either takes the open shot. You would "go under" every single time. If you run it with Harden and Dwight teams will respect Harden's jumpshot but not Dwights. My guess if they have rondo in the corner in that scenario good teams that can rotate (heat/Spurs/Bulls) will leave Rondo to sag to the middle or trap Harden. DJohn is right you want shooters to space thw floor. Parsons definitely fits, Rondo not as much. Not saying if you can trade Lin for Rondo you dont do it, but that fit is not ideal. Plus Harden and Rondo strive as ball handlers ... one will be less than their best in a off ball role.

Rondo gets alot of his points at the rim. Not jumpshots.

A prime Horry would be a perfect fit on this team ... Horry though a small for a PF was agood defender, willing passer and clutch shooter. you pit Big Shot Rob with this team I would put you guys just under Heat as favorites for the chip. he would of beeen a perfect 6th man for this team. Especially if you keep Asik. he could play starter or 6th man and rotate with the bigs.

Hard to find a Horry type. Prime sheed would be good as well. I know there were Ryan Anderson rumors and he can shoot it. but nowhere near the defense of those guys.

Aldridge would be a great fit ...but what would Blazers want in return? If they are willing to trade Asik even if you have to throw in a 1st rounder or one of your young assets you make that trade. I know he has some medical concerns but he also would be a great stretch 4.

Yeah. I've been telling people he stays active. And some people say well "Morey said he's gonna keep Lin and Asik". That's just PR, the roster is never set with him.

I don't know about that. The last three years, the rockets were trying to find their superstar. Now tha they have two, I think there will be more roster stability. There is no point in making a trade right now. I think they will go into the season with what they have and build the chemistry. No point in trading anybody yet, unless you are getting Love or LMA.

Well before the Blazers traded for Robin Lopez, they felt the deal for Aldridge was done. Now its on hold, but LaMarcus still wants out.

It's the honeymoon period, and Media is carrying their water and their end of the log and setting them up for the fall if OR when it goes badly. Then they'll drag out the FT card and the coach killer card and just beat the daylights outta Howard while at the same time guffawing at us for believing what they're feeding us now. The mother ers are never wrong. I get so ing mad I could go out and Zimmerman the first newspaper box I see.

It is when Howard and Harden say it is so. You don't piss off your superstars
