How'd Dellavedova go as starting pg for Cavs in a close game? Perhaps somebody watching CJ or Nando may have taken notice???

He had one steal against Denmon late in the game that helped seal the deal. Otherwise he didn't make an impression.

Pittman played a decent amount. He actually had a number of really nice plays including a pair of solid blocks. He generally made a solid impact when he was in the game. Probably showed enough to get a camp invite somewhere. San Antonio just doesn't really have a lot of need for his skills considering the options that already exist for us.
i totally agree. i think it's a real shame. pittman really stood out. not just this game, but the other games too. i found myself wondering if it'd be worth it for the spurs to give him a neal deal. even if it means way too much depth at big.

Summer league does not do a very good job of determining how good a Spurs player would be. Most of it is individual play, while Spurs ball is all about team play. The fact that Thomas can pass the ball already means he can do something that Danny Green has yet to learn to do. These games are not about stats, but rather how well they try to engage with their teammates both on offense and defense.

The Heat took away Green's passing lane when they closed out on his threes. He either had to shoot or drive. He should have just shot more.
