its racism because blacks and latinos are profiled every.single.day. even obama related to it because as a half breed, he is looked at as black and would have been profiled when he was a teen. we get followed, stalked, pulled over, patted down and frisked just because our dark skin makes us su ious. that's where the racism comes from.
Let me tell you a little story. When I was 21, I was playing basketball in my hometown with a couple of my friends. A black guy walks up to us, pulls a gun on us, and says, "I don't want no white boys playing on my court." It was a public court, by the way. Being profiled isn't right...no...but that's not either. Racism is alive and well in this country...but it's just as bad on both ends. You won't believe me, and that's fine....but that doesn't mean you're right.

Problem is with all that is....I provided concrete proof as to Zims violent assault on an officer....beating his fiancee, and molestation allegations from his younger cousin. You've provided no such proof regarding Trayvon. It's all nothing but a racist make believe back drop as to why murder in this case deserves a wink and a nod.
Kind of like your hypothetical way of how this went down. You know nothing...you weren't there. Again, I'm not defending Zim, he should have stayed in his car. But if Trayvon was doing what the witness says he was doing, it was going to be him or Zim...Zim chose to live.

You still didn't answer my question. Why does it become so important when a non-black kills a black but if a black man kills another black man, it's just another day? Where is the media and the uprising on all the stories I mentioned earlier, like the two 13 year old black kids who doused the white kid (whom they didn't even know) and burned him alive, saying "that's what you deserve, white boy?" And no...this had nothing to do with Trayvon..this was long before the trial. I could go on and on with similar stories, but media doesn't care, and people don't say a word.

You're missing the point. The national story didn't come from the fact that Trayvon was killed. It came from the fact that he was killed and walked around for 44 days without so much as an arrest or an investigation from the authorities. I'm pretty sure those black-kids you're speaking of were arrested on the spot and justice was swiftly handed down. Racism is wrong both ways, the difference is how many blacks do you see trying to justify those kinds of racial situations?

Pretty crazy considering how often he plays the race card. straight up said race played a role when Auburn didn't hire a black coach a couple years ago.

That your answer? Race card? Do you give a when blacks kill blacks? What about whites? Do you care when a black man rapes a 38 year old white woman and her 10 year old daughter and bash their skull in with a hammer? Does that bother you, or is it only when a hispanic/white man kills a black man?

You ever did something wrong and felt like you would have to spend the rest of your life apologizing for it? There you go ... Because at some point, emotions will level off and the offended will grant you asylum. But the moment something goes sideways, you're back n the doghouse, deeper than you were before because you broke a little bit of the trust that was earned. It'll never be completely eradicated just because we are humans, everyone is en led to their opinions, and stupidity is just another damaged leaf on a growing tree. You can choose to be ignorant and enjoy the good side of things, or you can remain cognizant of the notion that someone is devising an evil plot to destroy you. Either way, the sun will rise and set for the day following this one, which means it's one less day that i have to be alive. So the question is, do you really want to spend it analyzing the intricacies of illogical thinking of the prejudiced mindset?

As well, it depends on the cir stances. People react based on their experiences known and unknown, as well as their emotions which are often guided by stereotypes and prejudices. Is it wrong? Not always. Depends on how colored your experiences are. Fact is you can't control how someone perceived you because you didn't grow up as they did. It doesn't excuse some of the prejudices, but it explains the majority. Part of the being different is how people carry themselves because it often predicates how you're treated. So if you carry yourself a certain way, they treat you a certain way.

Besides, it's easier to just believe it someone else's fault rather than to do the work to prove you can be great. It like having a built in excuse generator. It's the best non job in the world, but sadly, we have no one to blame but ourselves. We have the world in our hands because of the past injustices, yet we fail to logically take advantage of it. We rather spend our lottery winnings on all the chicken nuggets money can buy and claim we were led to do it because of the advertising.

    Just my 2c.

Your argument has already been shredded. Florida wouldn't let some run around free after killing anybody, let alone a kid. And you wouldn't see me rooting for him to be freed. But some of y'all are racist bas s destined to burn in .

But not me. You kill somebody for any reason, you should get arrested the day it happens just to be safe, regardless of your race or the race of the person you killed.

Obviously you're the racist one here..because you are blinded by my comments, and calling me racist. I've already said Zimmerman was wrong...he shouldn't have even gotten out of his car. But Trayvon attacked him...and he felt his life was in danger, so he did what any human would do, protect his life. That's the difference between this case and the ones I mentioned. None of the cases I mentioned was the victim the aggressor. This was.

What a joke. All this outrage for one tragic killing... one with very little actual evidence for murder or even manslaughter, with even less that race was involved. This is what Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, Quanel X, Obama, etc wants to focus on?? How about spend a little time trying to confront and deal with the real elephant in the room: the complete destruction of the black family. 70 percent of all black children are born to single mothers.....70 fukin percent!! Statistically it is more likely for a black child to end up in jail that in college.... Protest that you morons. What a complete waste of collective energy trying to go after GZ... Fix your ing house black leaders....

I guess if you are going to believe Rachel Jeantel's testimony then you should also believe her when she said that Trayvon was giving Zimmerman a "whup assing"?

Let's play your little Rachel Jeantel game. She also said "Trayvon wasn't trying to kill anyone...he was just doing whoop ass." sooo....she admitted Trayvon was whooping his ass. He felt his life was threatened, and he defended it.

I am racist because I bring up the disturbing fact about Black families?? Unfortunately that is exactly the response you get from the so called black "leaders" ... they would rather just blame "whitey" for all the ills of the black population. Pathetic.

This.... the whole trial was just a classic wedge issue distraction and (predictably) 90% of Americans took the bait, tbh.... served for a nice distraction from Detroit going bankrupt (after Barry said during his campaign that it wouldn't), the NSA debate, and the IRS scandal....
    Pretty much.

Zimmerman was asking for trouble and should not have followed Martin. But the damn foundation of our judicial system is that if you are on trial for murder and potentially going to be put away for life, you are innocent until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.

The examples that Kool and others are using do cast some questions on Zimmerman, but they absolutely do not show that he murdered Martin beyond reasonable doubt. End of story. It is all a bit ridiculous; they just didn't have any case, nothing but hearsay and cir stantial evidence and hypotheticals. You cannot send somebody to prison for the rest of their life based on that. Casey Anthony got off and they had WAY more evidence on her than they had here on Zimmerman.

It scares me that so many people think the wrong verdict was given, because if they had their way, the judicial system would be extremely scary and convict too many people on too little evidence.

problem is you're not smart enough to play the game...sure she said he was whupping ass....the key word for you is "CONTEXT" ...she also said that the fight started when Zim tried to detain Tray and Tray said "Get Off"....once Zim touched the kid (and with his background and cowboy behavior of chasing him down in the first place) there's no reason to believe Racheal is lying about what she heard..so again in the "CONTEXT" of Zim physically touching Trayvon..Tray was well within his rights to kick his ass...again in a fair society you don't get the chance to engage, initiate, and start a physical altercation...get your ass kicked and then kill someone....let me know when you're really ready to play...I've been clowning you with each post....

your not a racist...maybe a little misguided...but won't answer my question about the real elephant in the room which is white racism..both ins utional and private that create the perfect breeding grounds for minority failures. I written ad nauseum about this...you're not ready for me either...all you in the booty lily ass white boys coming out of nowhere with base level intellects thinking you've discovered the holy grail....

everything that Zimmerman said is hear say and doubt...that dude is a liar....it all started with the first lie...then he covered his tracks by attempting to turn this kid in a gang member, a thug, a drug dealer, a hoodlum, a burglar, all these things that he knew white people would eat up...He committed the perfect murder and had the perfect jury, and perfect system to help him get away with it..it's laughable that a thug, gangsta...

Skittles and Ice Tea..the weapon of choice for thug, burgler, gangsta...
