Mullens is a 7 footer who is barely hitting 40% for his career.![]()
We sign Splitter for 9 mil/yr for averaging 10 and 6 this year...and my fellow Spurs fan say that is a good deal. Clippers just signed Mullins for 2 mil and he averages 10 and 6 this year and is 5 years younger. Is this a joke?
Mullens is a 7 footer who is barely hitting 40% for his career.![]()
He would have cost 8 mil/yr less. Big difference.
LOL Mullins peaked in high school.
This thread is the real joke...Dumb
Then we can say the same for Splitter. Mullins is 24...Splitter is 29...and Mullins is putting up better numbers.
Dont be a homer. Tell me why its a dumb thread...dont just say its because we are Spurs fans and accept everything the front office does.
Lol mullens is a shooting guard in a centers body. And he played for charlotte.
Since you like numbers so much lets start with 11 shots a game to average 10 ppg this least season. You obviously would not have started this thread if you had seen this guy play cause his defense is even worse than his fg%. Dude, just distance yourself from this thread as fast as possible cause it is really dumb. no seriously....
This thread surely is dumb. He played for Charlotte and for that reason alone, you should have been expecting greater results from him.
As another poster stated, Mullens is a career 40% shooter and Splitter is over 57%, so before looking at points (which Mullens takes considerably more shots) and rebounds (which Mullens may be getting an inflated number of offensive boards by rebounding his own misses) - you have to also consider their defense. Splitter is a great P/R defender and Mullens is an overall mediocre-poor defender.
ok standard box score junkie. Byron Mullens plays virtually no defense and is a jump shooting big that isn't very good at jumpshooting. It's like if Matt Bonner had Udoka's shooting ability, with some more athleticism
Blowjob Mullens
This guy's the Nick Young of bigs. Jump shooter who just tosses up brick after brick.
Why am I not surprised Mr. "I don't know what the a majority owner is" started this thread?
There is a reason the clips got him cheap- no one else wanted him. You can't make personnel decisions purely on a stat line either. I'll say it again - thank God spur fan does not run the front office.
haters................... mullens finishing around the rim >>>>>> splitter euro hook.......................
Now you've done it. I am willing to take on my Spurs fan homers...but now you have proof that they dont know what they are talking about. Splitter would run and cry in this situation...not take control. Splitter folded like a cheap lawn chair in the Finals...how great we got him for 9 mil/yr.
Hey..its Mr. my head is up the Spurs front office ass and I dont care about facts. Nice to see ya.
No one would have ever paid Ginobili 7 mil/yr....but we did. Nice. We rock.
You have some unique takes but I love your comebacks.
Am I the only one here convinced that these two are one and the same?
