So sexuality is natural in humans?
sexuality occurs naturally in humans.
Colored areas in his diagrams show that straight male's brains are similar to those in the lesbian's and gay male's brain activity is similar to that of a straight woman's brain.
The scans were provided by the Karolinska Ins ute where this research was conducted with 90 subjects.
Doctor Michael Sneary is a neurobiologist at San Jose State University.
"They're shaped like each other and if the structure of the two sides are structurally similar in sexuals and in women, it's a reflection that they function in the same way," says Sneary.
The Swedish researcher, Ivnaka Savic, says she and her colleagues chose to measure areas of the brain likely to have been fixed at birth.
"This is the most robust measure so far of cerebral differences between sexual and heterosexual subjects," says Ivnaka Savic.
They say the scans reveal that in gay people, key structures of the brain governing emotion, mood, anxiety and aggressiveness resemble those of straight people of the opposite sex.
"That was the whole point of the study, to show the parameters that differ, but which couldn't be altered by learning or cognitive processes," says Savic.
The study finds hetero and sexuality is fixed at birth.
"I think this is just more evidence that the behaviors are linked to things that are hardwired at birth," says Sneary.
http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/story?sec...cal&id=6209976The Corvallis herd includes a group of rams that scientists delicately refer to as "male-oriented." These animals consistently ignore females and bestow all their amorous attentions on members of their own sex.
Researcher Charles Roselli says a decade of study suggests sexual orientation is largely hard-wired into the sheep's brains before birth.
http://seattletimes.com/html/localne...cience19m.htmlAnd because you love your appeal to popularity fallacies:The study (peer-reviewed but based on a small sample) is the latest in a growing scientific literature suggesting that sexual preferences may be not simply a matter of personal preference but part of our ingrained biology. Indeed, some geneticists believe that sexual orientation in men (though not women) may be determined in part by markers in the Xq28 chromosomal region.
Many studies also suggest that sexual orientation may be linked to differences in brain anatomy. Compared with straight men, gay men appear to have a larger suprachiasmatic nucleus, a part of the brain that affects behavior, and some studies show most gay men have a larger isthmus of the corpus callosum -- which may also be true of left-handed people. And that's intriguing because gays are 39 percent more likely to be left-handed than straight people.
http://www.nytimes.com/2003/10/25/op...-at-birth.html
On the question of sexuality's origins, 47 percent say "being gay or lesbian" is "something a person is born with" while 33 percent say it is "due to factors such as upbringing and environment." Both numbers are records. The percentage of people who believe sexuality is present at birth has increased or remained steady since 2009 when the upward trend began and a plurality of Americans (42 percent) said it was due to upbringing/environment and 35 percent said it was something with which people are born.

sexuality is not the norm. Wow~~~~~~~
Wow, what a real unbiased source that is!
And look - she has a whole page on her site devoted to the insidious "gay agenda"!The media ministry of Linda Harvey is an outgrowth of her Christian faith and a successful career in journalism, marketing and public relations.
As a former advertising executive, Mrs. Harvey has specialized in creating new communications' vehicles. She has started more than twenty-five publications and overseen multi-million dollar advertising campaigns, primarily in the health care industry.
In 1995, she founded Mission:America, a non-profit organization whose objective is to equip Christians with current, accurate information about cultural issues such as feminism, sexuality, education and New Age influences. As editor of the organization's quarterly newsletter, Choice 4 Truth, and three companion web sites, Mrs. Harvey is in regular contact with national Christian leaders dealing with headline-making issues.

Bottom line is: I have noted scientific studies and proven genetic trends on my side of the argument, you have a few bigoted crackpot Jeebo s who parrot your misguided beliefs....
Do you really think I even knew who she was until an hour ago?
How about this one (and there are tons more)
paste...
sexuality is not natural among humans. However, it is "natural" for human beings to enjoy sexual stimulus however they can come by it.
sexuality may occur in nature, but saying it's natural for humans is like saying laying eggs is natural for humans.
I could that all night long. Why do so many see it as unnatural?
Gallup polling seems to prove you wrong on that one....
65% of Americans think gay relations should be legal
53% of Americans think gay marriages should be legally recognized
60% of Americans think gay relations are morally acceptable
40% of Americans think gay marriage will have no affect on society
36% of Americans feel they have become more accepting of gay people in the past few years
Source: http://www.gallup.com/poll/1651/gay-lesbian-rights.aspx
So since scientists believe that sexuality is a normal wiring of the brain/chromosomes that is present at birth, and society feels that sexuality isn't particularly abnormal, you really don't have a leg to stand on when claiming that it's abnormal....
I see you've stopped even naming a source for your crap now, probably because the sources for those re ed takes would be easily exposed as more biased, bigoted Jeebo s like yourself....
And if you think we're buying that it's just a coincidence that every time you take to Google to copy/paste "arguments" against sexuality (or atheism, for that matter) the websites you link to are always run by Christian organizations, and you don't know that before you link to them, you're mistaken....
That has ...zero...to do with if it's the norm or not, obviously it isn't since so few are sexual. You really aren't getting this at all, not surprised.
You have any idea how much stuff I can pull up proving that homsexuality is not the norm?
Are 7 footers the norm?
No, it's not. Because humans don't lay eggs naturally.
That was lame.
