Can your mentor be way past his prime? Ever since I've been downstairs, I have yet to see anything insightful in regards to basketball from this dude. Most of his comments are "Kobe 5, tired old Duncan 4" which makes him looks just as childish as the other three I mentioned.

So you must've missed the thread where he posted his novels. You might find his novels a bit salacious but imho, his writings are things that you should read and absorb with your heart rather than your eyes. (just like monster's ball)

tbh, this is what happened when MVPau joined the team. When it was purely Kobe's team, these trolls were nowhere to be found, but once Kobe went into coattail-riding mode, all these s joined the forum and haven't left, pretty much turning this forum into a wasteland of en lement and gotry.

this is true. i lurked quite awhile before that. tbh, it was mainly lakers s when i lurked, but all of them joined up post 2010, post MVPau. it's hard to find that many pre Gasol.

TheGreatYacht has impacted my life. I hate that guy with a passion. I'm gonnna on him whenever I get the chance. He never praises Pop and Manu so he doesn’t know about basketball. He watches BruceBlitzed instead of Charles Barkley or Skip Bayless - those guys say good stuff about my Spurs so they must be basketball wizards. TGY is not a Spurs fan, he's supposed to have blind loyalty for the team and accept everything that Pop and the FO do. He should take my lead and follow along like a little sheep.

TGY is getting in my nerves so much that I rather take sides with my enemies downstairs. Nobody s with my Spurs.
