That is funny. Creepy ... but funny.

Nuggets progressing on talks w/Bulls free agent guard Nate Robinson, a source tells Y! Sports. Nate & coach Brian Shaw have had good convos.
looks like the rockets offered a deal to miller. that would be a nice pick up for them
http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/94...at-sources-saySources told ESPN.com on Monday that the Miami Heat, New Orleans Pelicans and Sacramento Kings will all send representatives this week to watch Oden work out in person.
Sources say that the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks -- which had face-to-face meetings with Oden last week -- also remain in contention for the 7-footer's services. But the Heat and Spurs established themselves as the frontrunners to land Oden last month and, according to one source close to the process, remain the co-favorites to sign him.
ESPN.com reported last week
Yup and since he's been amnestied he's gna be a cheap replacement for Delfino, and more playoff proven
Please sign Oden Spurs.
Not sure if you heard...

He didn't show up games 6 and 7 and played some horrible D as well, last year against OKC I don't remember him much either. I would not say he showed up when it really mattered being he dissapeared in the biggest games of the last two years. He had a game or two yes, but overall he has been bad in the big games. I would wish him luck but honestly I would not be dissapointed if he was gone because we have a ton of 2g's on the team and a few who can shoot well.
I would not say Marco is a scrub either, infact he is an upgrade from Neal most would agree in here. Neal is very very one dimensional and horrible on D.
Apparently the Spurs and the Mavericks had a meeting with Oden last week. If the Spurs sign Oden I would have mixed feelings about it.Greg Oden will host three teams this week as the former No. 1 overall pick nears a decision on where he'll launch his NBA comeback, according to sources with knowledge of the free agent center's plans. Sources told ESPN.com on Monday that the Miami Heat, New Orleans Pelicans and Sacramento Kings will all send representatives this week to watch Oden work out in person. ESPN.com
I really don't get all the Spurs fans praying that we sign Oden.
Why?

The Nuggets are closing in on free agent guard Nate Robinson, I'm told. Denver offering bi-annual exception to land him.Could be done today.
I don't want it. Despite what people keep saying, there's almost no upside in it for the Spurs. At his best, Oden's Duncan with no outside game. With Splitter making so much money, he'll be Tim's primary backup, and Diaw, Pendergraph and Baynes will all play minutes at the five. Oden's just a wasted roster spot.
I don't care if they sign him one way or the other. If they do, I just wonder how he fits in their big rotation. Would he even play at all or will he spend next year on the IR. For the minimum it's not a bad gamble at all. But if he can't contribute right away I can do without him.
Yeah. No thanks to Oden. The Spurs have enough bigs. We need a backup SF.
Because if he can remain injury free this time, he "could" become someone who gets us past the TD years with further chances at championships. The key of course is the injury free part because few doubt his ability and talent.
Bring back Neal and sign Oden. Then get an above average SF backup for Kawhi and I'll be happy for this offseason.
No offense man, but I can't get past that first part. I mean, seriously, how likely do you think that is?
1% chance?
2% if he prays really hard?
I mean, I'm in total agreement that getting a healthy Oden would make this offseason amazing. But we're fooling ourselves if we think ANYONE is getting a healthy Oden. Hes done. Let someone else gamble. I'd rather sign someone else and let other teams gamble on Oden.
As I stated in another thread, I would take TD's knees over Odens anyday of the week. This is pretty sad considering TD has played in many more games and is about 12 years older.
I know what you are saying, it is a BIG IF, but IMHO worth the gamble because (again a BIG IF) if he can finally stay injury free, or at least major injury free, then we are all in agreement and the Spurs are the better for it.
2 years 4 mil for Robinson is pretty cheap. I thought somebody was going to overpay for him.
I wish the Spurs would try to work a S&T for Mo Williams with Utah.
I am going to shut up about Oden now because I have this weird feeling that the more I express my desire to have him play here, the more I jinx it.
Looks like nothing is going to happen today on the Spurs front, another ho-hum day!![]()

It looks like a sign and trade might be the best option for Williams. I'm not sure any team that's left with cap space is willing to give him $6M plus.
