Agreed. Despite his recent failure his all-time rank is not affected. No one's gonna take anything away from him just because he failed to win a le in 3 different decades.
Timmy played great in the Finals despite his missed layup, had he made the shot the spurs might have won it all, but it didn't guarantee a championship, Spurs were down 2 and there was plenty of time left, Spurs couldn't close the deal up 5 with 28 to go, what makes you think tying the game with time left would have changed things around all of a sudden? I'm not holding the miss against him, he played much better than any 37 year old would have. except for Kareem. I'm proud of my team and their 4 championships and I'm not gonna cry about it. 04 was surefire? Lakers had 4 HOFs and Phil Jackson, even if Fisher misses Lakers most likely win games 6 and 7
06 was a up, but there's no way Spurs would have won against Wade with the calls he was getting, no way + again 4 HOFS with Payton,Zo,Shaq,Wade and Riley, Heat was pretty damn good.
07 was legit by all means, Spurs dominated and were clear cut best team in the league.
2013 Heat were said to be an all-time great team with 29 straight wins, prime Lebron, stacked roster etc etc while Bonner and Neal were in the rotation, took a fluke 3pt shooting from Green from games 1-5 to even have a shot at the le.
