11 pissed off teammates, 39 wins, 23 shots per game, 24 points per game, 39% shooting. Bryant leads his team to playoff...whiff. Two distinct possibilities: A) Another injury B) Another offense of the predatory nature. Oh, and because Farmar also likes to shoot, Bryant may strangle him at practice...even a practice that Bryant doesn't participate in because they're "saving him for the games."
DwayneSchintzius is pretty clearly a Lakerfan doing the tired old schtick of pretending to be a Spurfan, tbh....
The most ridiculous part of the 2nd round () implies that they beat a top 2 seed in a 7 game series
No offense to Kobe but imho his personal stats will turn out to be a reverse indicator of his team's record. When Kobe has to play hero ball and put up big numbers himself, the team will often lose while if the Kobe Johansson mode is on, his team will end up winning the game 9 out of 10 times.
Well, the rosters as of now has duncan ahead of Kobe in the race to le #6
Oh wait, Tim Duncan only has 4 rings?![]()
Is that not roughly what he shot last year? With Dwight gone, he is probably going to shoot a ton more, so where is the issue?
No doubt Kobe is a controversial figure and it is controversial whether at this point in his career he will help more than he hurts, but as much as I dislike the guy, I'm going to say his comeback energizes the revamped Lakers. It's almost like the championship years all over again but everyone is older and more broken down. Championship formula doesn't just go away even when the athleticism does. The chemistry will be there and the Lakers will surprise some folks I think. Plus I think Nash is going to do better this year if he can avoid injury and simply distribute to real teammates instead of whiny, gay primadonnas like D12.
