does this guy play any defense WHEN he is on the court? Could he flourish in a Spurs uniform with a couple years of seasoning beforehand?
This is terrible, this idea. Terrible.
Well... If we got Belinelli we could probably get rid of a towel boy position. He could accurately throw a towel to a player that had actually been on the court from his position on the end of the bench...
That is...
If someone wasn't guarding him.
Where's that Kill Bill Panera Bread guy when you need him?
Dude refused to be assigned to the D-League. He prefers not playing in the NBA.
he was Manu's teamate in Italy. Manu would make him a near allstar. sign him
this is not true... the kid went to practice with the team a couple of times... never played with him
you might be right, since this is from wikipedia:
"Prior to his NBA career, Belinelli played for Italy's Virtus Bologna where he had Manu Ginobili as a teammate/mentor and For udo Bologna in the Italian Lega A and the elite Europe-wide Euroleague."
"His favorite players are Manu Ginobili (who was his teammate in the 2001-02 season with Virtus Bologna), Kobe Bryant and his idol Michael Jordan. "
I quite like him as a player but the fact that he turned down D-League is a big red flag.
He has the upside to be a good NBA player but he can't be that without a better at ude.
LOL at NO NO NO at the beginning, hopefully he proves some wrong in here who did not want him.
bnsf being exposed as idiots as usual
thinking theyre smarter then the front office tbh..
I'm confused...has he already done well here? How do you know they're not right?
epic fail
Everything about that statement was true. He wasn't getting minutes in the NBA five years ago. That's why the team wanted to send him to the D-League.
Some players will go, some won't.
What part of that do you not understand?
preference to play in the NBA =/= willingness to play in the D-League. how can you possibly make the assumption that he didn't want to play in the NBA?
Ah, I see how you misunderstand.
The choice was play in the D-League or rack up DNPs for the majority of the NBA season.
He chose the latter, therefore he preferred not playing in the NBA to playing in the D-League.
'Splained.
Haters be hatin'.
hater back in 2008 (and when he used to be Manu's #1 fan)
ing nostradamus tbh
