The first one was ing hilarious. It wasn't an Oscar winner or anything, just a good old fashioned funny, goofy movie. It also had some nostalgic factor for us old folks that remember the 80's.

I think the first Hot Tub Time Machine is pretty damn underrated. Many people passed on it because of the horrible trailer and just the le of the movie itself. It's pretty damn funny if you sit down and watch it...

LOL when Borat came out, my 70 yr old dad came to my house and forbade me to watch it because he heard the naked fat guy wrestling was the most vulgar thing ever filmed and he was afraid it would make me physically ill. He didn't know I'd been watching Ali G for years and that while the Borat movie wasn't exactly my cup of tea, nothing in it surprised me in the least.

Hot Tub 1 was OK, John Cusack ruined it for me though.

Not the biggest Adam Scott fan either, but at least he can do comedy, tbh. I'll check it out when it comes to Red Box.

No but for serious I really like that they added Adam Scott to the cast. He's pretty funny, and his character is such a dork in Parks and Recreation that I don't think he gets that many chances to improvise his own stuff.

I've got just enough left to get on some kinda level before watching a movie...but also have to pick up a friend from the airport in the morning and was kinda saving for that moment you know is coming when you get there on time and find out the flight is delayed. Decisions...

I don't think anyone here is hyping up the sequel as much as they are just pointing out that the first one isn't as bad as people think it was. Personally I don't think the sequel will be as good as the first one, they just have a funny concept for their movie and when I like a movie it's fun to go back and live in that world some more, even if it's not as good as the original. There's not even a trailer out yet.
