Don't get me wrong, as a Spurs fan, I respect the out of Kobe. 81 points against the Raptors, 62 points against the Mavs in 3 quarters (pretty sure the Mavs only scored 61), the buzzer beater against the Suns, and even him single handedly decimating the Spurs in 2008; those feats are something to behold.
However the fact remains that LBJ brings it all to the table. He regularly can score 30+ on any given night, brings you terrific defense, phenomenal passing/court vision, leadership, his ability to raise everybody elses game around him, and even now, with his ability to close out games in crunch time situations, put him in my mind a better player than Bryant was from 2006-2008.
Also the fact that he has made 3 Finals appearances, with 2 rings to show for it, certainly helps his cause, and is nothing to sneeze at.
