Everything, all your reasons, sound good to me, except #3, if he has the heart of a Mav then he is useless, and I feel sorry for the poor dude, he could do a lot better, like have the heart of a Spur, now that is saying something positive and worthy.

While Nando surely doesn't deserve to have some kind of church, he surely doesn't deserve all the bashing he receives here. Even he hasn't played in the playoffs, he has had a quite positive rookie season where he showed some qualities. At the end, I'm not sure it will be enough for him to end up as a good NBA player but he isn't some kind of scrub. He can play.
Hope you didn't think I was bashing Nando, I kind of like him, but "church" is a little extreme if you ask me.

PlayNando is of course trolling hard and can't be taken seriously but I'm just surprised on how tough people are on De Colo. He hasn't been great but he also hasn't been a disaster.
I don't speak for everyone, but I think the reason you see some of the reactions is his at ude. It's surfaced on more than one occasion that he will pout and have a bad at ude if things aren't going his way. While it doesn't bother me because I understand what it's like to be compe ive, I can see it rub people the wrong way to where they will point out every shortcoming of his game as to why he is in the situations he complains about.
Nando received a fair amount of chances to really grab the back up PG role, but came up short in that regard.He still had many good moments though.
Yep, he is a whiner but, at the end, I've never heard or seen him being accused of being a bad teammate. It would be better if he had the same at ude than a Patrick Mills but he isn't a cancer in the Jax mold.
The best example of that would be with FNT with De Colo not being that happy with the role the coach gave him, but he is still with the team while the coach could pick someone else if his at ude was problematic or while De Colo could turn down being with the NT.
That's all well and good (and true), but why is this coming out now?
This is weird. I don't think Nando earned the right to have the opportunities. Simmons on the other hand, I think did more so than Nando, but he never got consistent court time over some of Pop's favourites.

I'm not having a go at him, I actually liked him. I was disappointed when he asked out. I thought, in time, he would get opportunities if he stuck around.
dude signed for a NBA team, he failed... what do you want him to say ? I'm not good enough for the NBA smh... a reporter asked him about a come back and nba in general he answered I did not have enough opportunites with the Spurs because of team depth because of his style of play not fitting whatever... what he means is I believe I have the level to play in the NBA, Spurs was not the right team for me... right or wrong this is how he feels. this is why the issue came up.. what exactly is wrong with that ?
That Nando answered the question is pretty much irrelevant in my mind. Why in 2017 someone thought de Colo's thoughts should have been a story is a different matter. There's no need to shill for him to me.
