I completely agree. There isn't a person alive, twitter guarantees not withstanding, who didn't at least suspect.

Everyone knew he escaped on a technicality, not because he was clean.

His organization collected 20X the money they are "returning" and are simply trying to masquerade as innocents through monetary good will. It's pandering at its finest.
