He says his goal is to be a NBA Superstar and he will begin working out next week. So far he has been resting. Also says he will never get over the loss in the Finals, but understands that it is basketball and sometimes you lose.

Kawhi talks?
For 7 minutes!
For as much flak as Kawhi gets for not being good with the media, the dude always says exactly the right things
I love how he sets his standards high he wants to be a NBA Superstar and he is willing to put the work into it and he has a great head on his shoulders. He even said his goal is to be an All-Star this season and I think he will do it considering he will have some plays ran for him. He said he wants to be more efficient, but at this rate he is very efficient. I assume that once he gets more touches in offense, his efficiency will go down a little but he will improve tremendously and the experience will be huge come playoff time.
He is MOTAVATED !
Must be tough on him knowing that he could have wrapped up a le with that free throw. I don't blame him for the loss though. We wouldn't have even been in that position without him and I'm sure he's motivated to get back there and seal the deal. He's our future. Love the guy.
I'm excited about Kawhi's upcoming season!
While his 1 ft would have helped, it wouldn't have wrapped up anything..anyone that know basketball, should know this. Still was plenty of time left.
lol except when he said he is glad kids get to "touch" him hahahaha
hilarious.
i thought so too!! aaww we are like best friends dude!!![]()
is his knees ok?
The Heat had no timeouts left, assuming Ray Allen hits the 3 they are down one and have to foul. Even if we miss both they have to get all the way down court to score. Obviously it could happen but it would be 99.9999% over.
Honestly something that isn't mentioned as much as it should about the collapse, that was just as costly as any missed FT or rebound, was game clock awareness/management. On those 2 costly TOs by LeBron in game 6, Spurs immediately started the fast break, they had the lead, no need to score quickly. Force the Heat to foul and/or get a stop while you run the clock.
Blaming Kawhi for the finals loss might be the dumbest opinion ever expressed on these forums, tbh.
Yep. Also Duncan. And to some extent, Diaw and Green.
if we go back to the finals next year it will be because of kawhi. no coincidence ever since we got him we went back to the wcf and finals
Big question after the Finals, do you think Pop will change any late game decisions/strategy, such as fouling, going into next season/playoffs?
