losing to bama would not necessarily cause a dropping out of the top 10 but if they get beaten by double digits it may. a close loss would not do that, imo.

i see tech at 5-1 before the schedule catches up to them. 7-5 is possible but 6-6 is also likely. tech may be able to pull off an upset in one of those last six games though.
