Can someone explain logically why the DMC who seemed like a calm character had such an emotional goodbye to Spurstalk then returned in 3 weeks? I sometimes wonder wtf is going on with people here. Way too much estrogen
DMC had some abrasive moments but his best stuff was better than most on here. I think that series burned him out more than any poster pissed him off. I know I've thought of taking a long break. Sometimes not in the mood following that Finals. I suppose everyone returns or pokes their head in here every so often.
I honestly think Midnight took it the worst, there are theories floating around that he is MJ or Fortune Cookie but I doubt it. Midnight used to troll LG and I had a convo with him on LG prior to joining here. His style is very distinct, likes to outsmart and with people and low blow. Not into that petty , it's clear who MJ is and who he's in cahoots with.

Yep, Midst was driving me nutty nuts with the twice daily calls to return. When it started moving away at 6 he changed his tune and was soft and cuddly, but, I let him twist in the wind a while longer. Then when Duncan screwed the pooch Midst threw himself at my mercy talking about suicide & homicide. I ain't seen much of him since that night and those prophetic words.

Agree that DMC has wane and waxes but I don't think it was the finals defeat that triggered his decision to leave. He made a wrong prediction for game 5 but he said the Heat would win the series which turned out to be correct. He definitely had the bragging right over most spurs fans who adamantly insisted the "ring #5" until the dream was finally snipped into 1 million pieces in game 7. He and Lakerbestever even made a bet on game 6, DMC won the bet but was still gone, while the loser and welcher stayed.
laker fans are primarily despised because nearly every one joined after MVPau brought home the repeat and started talking immense . If laker fans were here before Stern's gift, they wouldn't receive as much . It also doesn't help Lakers have some of the most en led fans in sports. Not all fit this description, but it is common.

I know some people called my friend Dale "child molester" back in the day, and I'm really pleased that people are starting to call me the same (or similar at least).
