If only man. One ring under Kawhi's belt would have been HUGE for him.

Don't even care about the regular season but I cant wait for Spurs basketball.

Blaming Kawhi for the finals loss might be the dumbest opinion ever expressed on these forums, tbh.
Why don't you read the post before being an asshole.

Must be tough on him knowing that he could have wrapped up a le with that free throw. I don't blame him for the loss though. We wouldn't have even been in that position without him and I'm sure he's motivated to get back there and seal the deal. He's our future. Love the guy.

You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ears though. Have no doubt about dude's workrate and determination but I don't think he was born with the talent of a superstar, nor does he play in a big market where the media would hype him into a superstar. He will be a durable version of the prime Josh Howard but you never expect a player like him to lead your team imho.

Big question after the Finals, do you think Pop will change any late game decisions/strategy, such as fouling, going into next season/playoffs?
Knowing Pop, I'd say no. Stick with the system and trust that it'll prevail if put in similar situations. But who knows, he changed his rotations a little so anythings possible.

Nice Top 10 and damn encouraging for the Spurs. Looking forward the season mostly because of him and Timmy!

That's not enough, IMO. Team needs another renaissance season from Duncan, which is kind of sad considering I'm still expecting a lot from Duncan for our championship aspirations.

My sentiments, exactly. I'll never understand why some people even mention his missed ft. He gets a pass since we won't be in a position to have an opportunity to wrap up the game without his contributions on both ends.

This video made me realize that Kawhi actually dunks with authority, although it might seem that he's not looking to do so. Man, really excited to see what he'd be like in his 3rd year. Not gonna say he's gonna be a beast or anything, as I don't wanna get head of myself. I'd very much rather sit back, relax and enjoy everything as his 3rd season unfolds.

The interview and his quiet life off the court show he's a humble guy.
Buck on Johnny Football Manziel vs Kawhi Leonard is a good read about how Kawhi responds to fame and the media better than other young players.

Just saw the interview. I think that was Kawhi's best interview yet. It didn't come off as awkward as his interviews usually are.

    MY KNEE FEELS FINE!

Notice how he says he just wants to get better, everything is fine with the knee and that it's up to me.

I told you all, there is nothing wrong with Kawhi, he just has some real UNFINISHED BUSINESS, the USA Team can wait.

Number 3 was my favorite play of his by the season so far - I think I rewound it like 10 times at home.

I'm looking forward to Kawhi Leonard leading the Spurs in the future. He can be a superstar, in my opinion.

I am shocked he didn't kill Ginobili for his EIGHT TURNOVERS.

I can't lie, I was really hoping somehow Kawhi would've gotten a ring and maybe even a finals MVP after his 2nd year. Who would that have reminded you all of? If Spurs did manage to win the championship, I definitely would've rather had Duncan or Kawhi win it than anyone else.
