we all know pop and bonner could come out with a gay in sports story. the likes of which, would totally dwarf the collins thing. while being about as hilarious as a politician named weiner, leaking nude photos. so how much do you think pop would love to have dirk in his starting line up?
spurs - big 3 + kawhi
rockets - harden and howard
grizzlies - gasol and conley + zbo
hornets - davis, holiday, evans + anderson and gordon
mavs - dirk + shane larkin, but ellis-marion-carter?
i respect dirk. i love larkin. but those middle three, i believe, aren't gonna cut it in this division. i can already smell the bobcat turd of a record, the mavs are brewing up. if dirk demanded a trade, would splitter based deal get it done? or just forget my bored trade machine notion. would it be cool for dirk to play for the spurs? i think yes... he'd be the stretch four of pops wettest dreams.
so just eh and boo, huh? isn't it at least a little exciting how good the division is? the mavs aren't terrible. dirk is absolutely incredible. and yet this division could force him into something drastic.
It's fitting that your username starts with "drunk"
i'd kill you in fantasy league, lee.
was kill this thread any harsher than calling Pop and Matt Gay?
Cuban-Dirk is a "til death to us part" pairing, while I continue to hold out faint hope that Pop-Bonner is not.
Spurs aren't trading for dirk and his $22.7 million salary this year.
no need for a response like that, tbh
This one has pushed me over the edge..I'm not coming back here until the season starts..my goodness. Why in the would Cuban trade Dirk to the spurs?? ..and for splitter?? Lol enough is enough.
considering what the op is suggesting, there really is tbh
Dude is a lifelong mav and he will end his career in Dallas where people love him. It would make sense if he was still hunting for a ring, but as he already has one I don't see him deigning to turn a 06' Gary Payton to add a few more rings on his honor book.
But anything can happen in this crazy world, where the weather is hot like and even the shoes are melting down. Even Paul Pierce got traded out of town. I believe that Dirk wouldn't demand a trade himself because he loves the city so much and the people love him too, but it's still possible that Cuban would put him on the trading block to smooth up our rebuilding process.
geez louise where is y'alls appreciation for random conversation?
