are there any good uniform redesigns?
The explanations are pretty vague. Are these isolated incidents or is there something going on in Ft. Worth?
Per 24/7, ATH Kevin Shorter is down to Arkansas/Texas and is expected to make a commitment before next weekend.
24/7 reporting that LSU will NOT target CB Jermaine Roberts after the de-commitment of CB Chris Hardeman.
Really? I thought he was a heavy A&M lean. That changed fast.
2015 DT Tevin Boone of Cleburne talks about the Texas Stampede (24/7):
“The visit went really well,” said Boone. “It was great actually. They hinted around that an offer was a big possibility soon. It sounds like they're going to wait until Sept. 1, when they're allowed to contact me, before doing anything. They told me to just be patient. I’m really hoping it comes through and happens.”
“I could definitely see myself playing there,” Boone said. “Without a doubt. I would have no problem committing to Texas as long as my mom was on board with it too. I would love to be a Longhorn if the opportunity presents itself.”
Yeah, believe it or not. I'm expecting Arkansas because he's close with a cousin that plays there and they should be running the ball a ton now that Bielema is the head coach. Texas is doing something right, though. Two trips in two weeks.
Quotes from 2015 RB Jordan Stevenson of Dallas South Oak Cliff (24/7):
“They (Texas) said I’m a great fit for that offense,” he said. “They told me they are looking for a special kind of running back that can do multiple things. A guy who can play running back and who can split out to the slot."
“They want an all-around athlete that can do it all,” he added. “They told me that they love my speed and I can play multiple positions. The coaches have told me they can use me in many different combo packages and just use me in a lot of ways.”
“It’s going to be a lot of fun to see what Coach Applewhite can do,” said Stevenson. “I think highly of what they said and I’d love to take advantage of that opportunity to do those things, so to see them preview it this season is going to be great. I can’t wait."
“If the coaches do what they tell me they’re going to do, it’s going to be one of the best offenses out there and I’d love to play for it.”
“When it comes to Mike (Davis) and me, we go way back,” Stevenson said. “He’s like my family member at Texas basically. He tells me all about it. He says that Texas is a great opportunity I shouldn’t pass up and tells me Texas is the place for me to be. I think a lot of his opinion."

Per OrangeBloods, ATH Kevin Shorter will be making his decision on Friday, August 16th.
That dude is crazy. Not Artest crazy, but I think a little off which is what you want out of a defensive guy for games like OU.
I can't wait to watch him this year as he was coming on strong at the end of 2012 once he saw real playing time.
