RJ's contract was the worst. But Bonner is close to that, TBH.
So it does not become a Manu bash fest you can't use his contract that was signed this summer.

1) Jefferson
2) Malik Rose
3) Jackie Butler
Richard Jefferson, was total garbage but will be Matt Bonner when they re-sign him to his legacy deal.
Steve Smith
Bon-Bon
RJ.
But remember RJ's salary for the time that he was a Spur was actually reduced by that contract.
Years were added to RJ's contract to reduce his immediate salary. Then the Spurs moved him so that another team had to take the downside, i.e., the extended years that allowed the Spurs to reduce his salary.
All things considered, it wasn't a bad strategy by the Spurs.
RJ and Bonner. That Rasho deal was also bad, but at least they got rid of him, while the red is still here.
tbh, I don't even want to look up how much we gave to Ron Mercer..

People may not like Bonner, but that has nothing to do with his contract. His contracts can't be said to be bad. Not sure he's ever earned 5M/yr. If it was over that, then maybe there is an argument.
Richard Jefferson and it's not even close
Good observation. Had the Spurs been unable to move him, then giving him more years as opposed to letting him expire wold have looked terrible.
Nesterovic ,rj and malik come to mind
Pop obviously. He's cost us more championships than he's brought us, so anything more than a dollar is overpaying him
Manu's currently overpaid but his last contract was definitely worse. SA paid a guy $14 million to play useless FIBA ball for Argentina, proceed to get injured, heal on company time, play like after returning from injury, and help the Heat win the le.

1 - Jefferson
2 - Rasho Nesterovic
3 - Malik Rose
4 - Jackie "Heavy Paper" Butler
5 - Matt Bonner
Alfre Hughes? Dwane Scnitzius?
Plus having to dump rashos contract brought us bonner fck raslow double for that one
Spurs almost never give out a bad contract, and when they do, they get out from under it.
