I'm envisioning the designers wanting to put the full sunburst on the front like the Barkley days, but being told by Sarver that the extra fabric would cost too much, so just stick some numbers on instead

Wow, those are without a doubt the worst uniforms I have ever seen in the NBA. Worse than the gold Wizards gear. Worse than the Mavs trashbags, Worse than the aqua Pistons jerseys of the 90s. Worse than the Rockets pajamas of the late 90s-early 00s. Worse than the powder blue Kings jerseys of the mid 80s.

Everytime Barkley joined a team, they decided to leave the nice, classic uniforms for flashy ty ones :
- Sixers, a few years after they drafted him
- Suns : in the 92-93 preseason, they worse their classic ones, but switched to the new ones when the regular season started
- Rockets : gets traded in 96 .... boom new jerseys

The 2000 Suns jerseys were pretty lame, and this really isn't a clear improvement over them. Nothing special, but I guess they're not terrible.
