I can see people chasing for Walts whereabouts , Declan, Todd, or the Czechs and if Walt used Saul guy to disappear, then they can easily get to Saul for the address and kill him in not corpoporting. I can't see Saul snitching on either Jesse or Walt after all this time.

I agree, I meant that Walt's development has transformed him into Tony Montana, which Gilligan has alluded to since the start, but I wasn't expecting it to be so literal, tbh..

I also agree with stretch that Scarface is one of the most overrated movies of all-time, tbh..

My biggest question is, who gets the ricin? I'm thinking either Walt or Jesse. Fitting, since it originated with them, and they have never used it yet.

I could see Jesse using the ricin on himself and then running to the hospital to undo it once it's too late.

Also, the Emo Jesse thing wouldn't be so bad if the show hadnt been jerking around with Jesse growing up and going emo in alternating fashion. I mean in episode 10 of season 4, we had Jesse calling cartel people A-holes to their faces, shot a guy like 8 times to protect Mike, and started to get really confident in himself. Then a few episodes later he's all emo again. In season 4, I expected Jesse tobecome more grizzled when season 5 rolled around, especially after that Salud episode of season 4. I guess it's pretty obvious thats not going to happen anymore, but its tiring seeing Jesse be an emotional wreck when we've seen sneaks of him be the man.

It's just a nitpick. Still love Jesse's character.

I think we'll see Jesse get up again... he's smart enough to figure that Mike is dead after all.

I'm thinking the scenes where Walt has hair and returns to the house are after he fakes his death... then comes back to kill Hank or everyone. It is a year later after all, since we saw him do the bacon thing in the first episode of this season. Badger's Star Trek rant had an odd focus too... seems foreboding. Maybe Walt uses Jesse as some kind of decoy and kills him... or something.

I love how Walt is pretty much Gus now. From expanding his empire with two car washes, handling Lydia the exact same way Gus handled Walt when they first met and even when Walt was throwing up, he turns the water on and uses the towel to keep his knees cleans. Brilliant writing. That confrontation was so unexpected but sets up even more intensity for the last 7.

I bet Gus' history comes back up somewhere in these episodes. He was such a badass that even the Cartel would never take the chance at killing him, entirely because of his past. It would be strange if there are no repercussions for Walt for killing Gus.

Not sure if mentioned yet, but I saw on a different site a poster identify that Walt picks up traits/actions of those he's killed.

What's with everyone upset with Jesse and his moods? Is it really a shocker? He has made a ton of money, lost it, made a ton, lost it, made a ton, lost it, and made a ton again, been on and off a variety of drugs from marijuana to meth to heroin, and has been associated in one way or another with the death of about 15-20 people including having a girl he was in love with die setting off a chain of events that led to a plane crash with 100 or so people dying, watching an innocent kid get murdered, and personally murdering several people while nearly being killed multiple times himself. All of that happened in the span of a year. Thats enough crap for almost anyone to begin breaking down mentally, much less a guy who is basically a kid in his early to mid 20s like Jesse.

It would be fine if these weren't the last episodes. He didn't even say

Finally got to watch Talking Bad and holy Julie Bowen was a bad guest. Nothing more annoying than hearing an amateur opinion on something with the expert sitting right next to them. I understand he can't say too much but she was just going off like a typical woman who's had a few too many glasses of wine. Bill Hader should be good next week

I'm glad I didn't start watching this until last year so that I could watch episodes one after the other. The time off between seasons would have been killer; seemed like it has taken forever for this episode to come on.

I think Jesse is written perfectly. Easily my favorite character followed by Hank and Mike (in that order). I like what they've done with Walt a lot but I don't like him very much anymore. Not a likeable character but a really really impressive story and development.

I"m trying not to read too much about the show and definitely staying away from any leaks and the like. I'm enjoying the out of it and I want to find out organically how it ends. Haven't looked forward to the end of a show so much since Lost.

Jesse is Breaking Bad's version of Mallory from Family Ties. Every year as the season went along, she got a little smarter and a little less obnoxious, but sure as , when the new season rolled around in the fall, she was dumb as dirt again.

You will be hooked by middle of season 3 and you won't regret having spent your free time in front of a TV....I promise.

I was hooked by midway through Season 2. It's pretty easily the best thing on TV since The Wire and The Sopranos, and is right there with Sopranos for my second favorite series ever (nothing touches The Wire).
