Your an idiot. I get your implication. You implied with Jackson, it would have been worser. That is purely egotistical. I said Jackson was more consistent than Manu; therefore, he would provide more of a help in the playoffs whenever Manu struggled. It is true Jackson stats are "all over the map", like you said, but his playoff stats are UNDENIABLE. The dude is pure playoff clutch. All I said in the post was with Jackson the Spurs would have won an 2013 NBA Champion.

P.S. Could tell your trying really hard to be an analyst. Maybe, you should stick to your porn (2 cents) :/

Did I say anything about the Spurs being better or worse off with Jackson? Stop tilting at windmills, Don Quixote.

I said Jackson was more consistent than Manu; therefore, he would provide more of a help in the playoffs whenever Manu struggled.
Nope. You said Jackson was consistent, period. Don't move the goalposts by saying he was more consistent than Manu.

It is true Jackson stats are "all over the map", like you said, but his playoff stats are UNDENIABLE. The dude is pure playoff clutch.

When was 'clutch' ever part of the argument?

Don't bring up another topic entirely to avoid the fact that you called Jackson consistent and got proven completely wrong.

All I said in the post was with Jackson the Spurs would have won an 2013 NBA Champion.
Your opinion. Like assholes, everyone has one.

If you had stuck to your opinion instead of stating something inherently untrue like Jackson is consistent, I would have had no problem with it.

P.S. Could tell your trying really hard to be an analyst. Maybe, you should stick to your porn (2 cents) :/
Is this the online version of saying "you're a big meanie-head"? Jesus, what a pathetic attempt at flaming.

It'd be like Randy Moss having a pic of him wearing a Ravens hat.

Huh? When he does sign with a team I'm likelier to see Kawhi posterize him and Danny shoot a deep 3 in his face than for him to score 25 on >.500 shooting.
IDK what you are talking about with stats tbh.

I'm assuming you missed the video posted downstairs with Stephen Jackson choking the out of Steve Francis, and Steve doing NOTHING, not even getting mad about it.

Second off, does anyone think a team will really take a gamble and pick him up?

I'd rather have had Stak 5 in that game 6 vs. Heat over Ginobili tbh

I'll go a bit farther, you replace Manu with Stak5 in that Finals and Timmy gets his 5th

Yeah somehow Manu, who has been a way better playoff performer than Jackson his whole career is subject to having his game slip with age, but Jackson, who's never looked slower, is not going to miss a beat in the playoffs.

I'd take Manu over Jackson any day. Same with every GM in the league. I can tell you right now that if the Spurs didn't sign Manu, he'd be signed by another team right now. Meanwhile Jackson is making the calls in China trying to catch on.

Pathetic but not as pathetic as Danny Green, who was supposedly sick, going out late at night after Game 7 and sucking Lebron's basically.
Jack ed over the team. Danny Green did not and was the Finals MVP for the Spurs for the first 5 games. Do not even compare the two.

yes Manu would be signed, but not anywhere near 14 million and mainly to grab hispanic fans in SanFran, LA, NY or Washington DC. , he'd probably have joined the Heat team since he already won a Finals game for them

I'm gonna go ahead and say Stak 5 would not have won a game for the Heat

We don't know what he would be worth on the open market, but I can tell you it's not based on his being hispanic. Even with some of his athletism deteriorating, he's still a high level passer and creator, and dangerous enough that you can't leave him open on threes, as Golden State found out. He can still score in bunches as well, even though he his prone to a few more turnovers. I'm guessing that every playoff team in the league woudl throw money his way. His skills are still better than average at his position and he is also a great leader and character guy.

On the other hand, Stephen Jackson wouldn't have won a game for the Heat because he would have been stuck on the bench. He's too slow to play two guard (and probably small forward against Lebron). So he would have to play the four in small ball line up, trouble is, that's kawhi's position. And if he did get in the game, he was even more turnover prone than Ginoboli, he can't play defense anymore, and he is a worse shooter.

I'm not sure why anyone has blind faith in this guy. Ginoboli has had way more effective and important playoff performances than this clown and Ginoboli is a much better team player and character guy. You'll never see Ginoboli kicked off a team for his at ude. You'll never see him propping a guy that flagrantly fouled one of his teammates (see Shannon Brown flagrantly fouling Ginoboli and Stephen Jackson sticking up for Shannon Brown).

If no one wanted to pick up Iverson when he was still able to play because he was a cancer then Crack5 has no shot. Getting waived from the San Antonio Spurs a week before the playoffs starts say a lot to the rest of the league. The Spurs are the most respected organization in the NBA by most teams/executives, so I'm sure Jack refusing to reign himself in under the direction of Popovich probably told the rest of the league all they needed to know

LMFAO,None of us really know why Stak was cut....

But I know damn well that second line-up coulda used him when they went dry and relied on Gary or Manu chuckin' 3's to bail 'em out

Stak 5 was a far sight better than the corpse of T-Mac on the court thats a FACT...

Cutting Jackson b4 the PO's was a dumb decision by Pop face it

Staks 6.5PPG avg was way better than Tmac's big ZERO

    Statistics tell you that..sorry guys

anyone that watched the second line-up struggle w/ scoring knew that having Stak woulda been a "pressure valve" baby

It makes no difference that Jackson is currently better than the piss poor version of TMac on this team. TMac didn't get any significant minutes in the playoffs. So even while T-Mac showed he was done in the garbage minutes he got, Jack being better in the garbage minutes wouldn't have mattered. The real truth is that Jackson had the "pressure" reputation based on two games back in 2003. Other than that, he hasn't done much of anything in the playoffs. And you can't cite the Thunder series from two years ago because we lost the game in which he shot well.

Jackson's 2003 performance has caused him to be overrated by some on this website, and underrated by some on the others. While keeping him for beyond 2003 might have yielded good results for the Spurs from 2003-2007, in 2013 and beyond, he is not very good, and in fact, a team cancer. So any talk about him winning us the le against the Heat is laughable.
