Working security job for a construction company while going through college. Worked Monday and tuesday from 2 to 10 and Saturdays and sundays from 6amto6pm and get Wednesday, Thursday and friday off. Not a bad gig. I got to do my papers, homework, bs around on my laptop, watch porn, drink a beer and all this while at work. Weekends would be the cause no one would be there so I would call my chick and bang in the business building. If I stayed up too late and needed to catch up on my sleep I would just go into this room and crash out for about thirty minutes, get out and patrol for 10-15 minutes and go back to crashing out. Cake ass job. Got to watch Spurs games and nfl games in their conference room. Also, sneaked into their frig and ate some of their food lol.

I used to work in a cubicle doing code all day. The job sucked but I enjoyed my coworkers. One was the crazy Middle Eastern guy who could never get the copier to work and he would go nuts and start kicking and hitting it. Also had another good friend who helped us scam over a hundred thousand dollars by putting a virus in the computer system. It was fun times. Too bad the place burned down.

Work in a call center for a mortgage loan business.

It was only temporal and PT, but $10/hour at the time. Plus our goal for the day was to make 160 calls to individuals which was really about 2 hours of work.

Retail pharmacist. Not as rewarding/fun as clinical positions, but the pay is better and the hours shorter.

In between running marathons, playing pickup basketball and buying codones off the internets, I once worked as a 26 year old intern making minimum wage to support my 2 year old son. Pretty sweet gig

Working as a busboy. My friend was the bartender and I'd drink stuff he concocted all night, and the place was so big that the manger at night had no idea I was working in the back area only so I got paid house tips from both areas (you're only supposed to get one), two envelopes with the same amount of money basically. Then the arcade manager gave me a 20lb bag of tokens and I spent some of my free time there as well. So I was making good money, getting drunk at work, getting free arcade access and meeting NBA players, singers and actors. Not a bad gig. Too bad they went bankrupt (gee how did that happen?)

that was before you got your doctorate's in biology (or something similar) though. Being a private contractor doesn't count as a "job" imho, no matter how much $ you rake home per month, per day or maybe per hour.

I've made a lot more money on other jobs, but I still consider that the best job I ever had, for the time I had it. It was like going to hang out at your friend's bar all day and getting paid for it.

The job I've had since 1991, even as my le has changed. I hit 6 figures at age 30 (1999) and have increased steadily since. I have lived well below my means, so I'm looking forward to early retirement.

When I was 19 I worked for a few months at a big Goodwill. It was a ty retail job the same as all ty retail jobs, so the work itself wasn't terribly rewarding, but I worked with a fairly fun group of people (other annoying teenagers like I was at the time) and, best of all, I had an employee discount at a thrift store and first dibs on all the coolest stuff.

I don't know why but you remind me of...
