Stand up guys.
6,5/10 Good film.
neys vs Zombies : 8/10
Funny!
Stand up guys.
6,5/10 Good film.
Only God Forgives - 7.5/10
An interesting experiment by Refn. Not Drive by any means. Very, very surreal.
Upstream Color - 9/10
Ambiguous and wraps up well at the end. Delves into the relationship between things in the universe.
The Conjuring - 4/10
Wasn't like 98% of horror movies, and because of that it's vastly overhyped.
Elysium - 6.5/10
Solid Blockbuster, best of the summer.
Trance - 5/10
Hummingbird - 6/10
Phantom - 5/10
Kind of okay action movies that I didn't sleep through.
Lone Star (1996) - 10/10. Can't believe I missed out on this one.
Elysium - 9/10
2 Guns - 7/10. Pretty predictable and meh plot, but the characters and the chemistry of Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington makes the movie worth seeing.
The Wolverine - 7.5/10
Got off to a great start, promising something different from most comic book movies. Although for me, it had a somewhat underwhelming final act (like Man of Steel). Still, it was great movie with a good story, great action, and solid acting. I really liked it.
***SPOILERS*** By the final act I mean starting when Wolverine was being shot with a thousand arrows by the ninjas. It just felt wrong to me. The scene before that was awesome when he took that parasite thing out of his heart and killed Shingen.

Fruitvale Station: 7/10, good acting, interesting story, but fails in its attempt to make a political statement. Just another tragedy.
Olympus has fallen: 6.5/10. Kinda fun but the President and his cabinet are embarrassingly cowardice and the US is totally inept.
Tyler Perry's Temptation: Diary of a Marriage Counselor. 9/10 . Good conversation and more followed this movie.

Elysium - 8/10. Heavy handed and marred with dumb Hollywood cliches, but I'm a sucker for cool scifi guns and fun violence.
neys Vs Zombies - 2/10. Not funny. Tries way too hard for camp.
Kickass 2 - 6/10. Corny with tons of bad dialogue. Entertaining if you're willing to shut your brain off.
Up yours! Sellers is brilliant.
2 Guns- 7/10. Cliche action film but loved the chemistry between Wahlberg and Washington. Wahlberg has some nice one-liners/jokes.
We're The Millers- 7/10. I didn't get the hate really. Just a dumb comedy thats good for some laughs.
Kickass 2- 8/10. Wasn't better than the original, but I didn't think this one sucked. I liked it....
Thumbs up, great movie. One of those films you don't mind re-watching from time to time.
Jobs - 0/10. Felt thoroughly duped after seeing this movie, thought it was going to be a do entary about people going to work, instead about the guy who created Apple Computer starring Michael Kelso. Barf.
Watched "Jack the giant slayer" the other night. It would've been a good movie if they had choosen the right actors, but sadly the chosen actors all turned out to be horrible fits for their roles, with Ewan McGregor being the only exception maybe. They got Rooney's brother to act as Jack, dude's not as fat and has more hair but still looked as ty and hilarious as the role could ever get, while that Isabelle actress didn't seem to even know how to act. You can't let kids run the show and expect to win the box office, tbh.
Mud - 4/10
was on track for 8/10 then the snakebite scene, was like they handed the script over to "hollywood" writers at that point, very disappointing.
that sucks. you should've walked out and got a refund.
How the h this Mud is pulling 98% on rotten tomatoes is beyond me.
watched IronMan 3 last night and I agree with most of you guys that this movie sucks, probably even worse than Rambo 4 and Captain America 1 tbh. Marvels studio will need to get my goddess back to rescue IronMan 4 as well as the series, if the series should still exist after the epic failure of Iron Man 3. Captain America 1 is but I'm expecting CA2 to hit some sort of success. My goddess never disappoints me, never.![]()
Now you see me: 8.8/10
I really enjoyed watching it.
3.66/5 on RYM seems like a more down-to-earth rating.
I saw a cop buddy movie with Sandra Bullock and some fat chick. Don't waste your time.
I'm gonna need an explanation as to why you went. It better involve a woman.
"License, registration and Man Card please.
Ok, do you know why I'm pulling you over?"
watched "the horse whisperer" last night. I just got done downloading that last night and I couldn't wait to watch it. It was like the oldest movie I've downloaded with my goddess in. She looked so young back then and gorgeous as she always is, incredibly beautiful for a 13yr old imho. And her voice was so clear and tuneful, it made me long to know how sweet her voice would've sounded now if she had never smoked.
Birdsong - 10/10. Although not a direct adaptation of the WWI-setting novel (leaves out the 3rd story in the movie), this BBC production was beautifully written, directed, and acted. Joseph Mawle as Jack Firebrace is probably one of my favorite characters I've ever seen on film. Eddie Redmayne was great as the lead too, and was 2 completely different people pre and during war--which was how it was. I recommend this to EVERYONE.
