explain this George. How did stand your ground allow him to get away with murder?
It prevented his arrest, which prevented prompt collection of evidence, which prevented a strong case to be tried by the prosecution, which allowed GZ to get away with murder, is probably the argument one could make.

The self defense laws are pretty much the same in every state. Trayvon jumped him, beat Zimmermans ass, and the jury decided Zimmerman was in reasonable fear for his life and en led to defend himself with deadly force.
It had nothing to do with stand your ground. , Zimmerman couldn't have retreated if he wanted to since Trayvon was sitting on his chest going MMA on him.

Just to clarify, I did not say that I agreed with GGA. I was simply explaining to the chimp what he was saying.
why do you think Zimmerman was brave enough to follow a black man who was bigger than he was in the middle of the night? Even ater the police told him to not follow him? Maybe because the tough guy had a gun?

If anyone could have invoked stand your ground under those cir stances that night it would have been Trayvon. If Zimmerman hadn't had a gun Trayvon could have attempted to use SYG as a defense for his Felony Assault charge saying he was in fear for his life from the creepy cracka following him and stood his ground by going on the offensive and beating the crackas ass and pounding his head into the concrete. His cklaim would be that he had a right to stand his ground and didn't have to retreat from the cracka.

Probably not. Looked like a legitimate felony assault. He could have tried, though. It would have been a reasonable defense if they didn't have anything else and just hope for a juror as stupid as GGA, Pusher, Trill, Creepn, etc..
