We got enough players yet or what?? Its time to buckle down and get serious.
I've been asking everyone I meet that I know likes football and ppl being cheap or just not interested. Tell your friends tbh
Draft is 2 days away and we still need 3 peopl. I haven't paid yet either cause we don't have enough. We still doin this thing?
We may have to drop the money restriction. You know youve got a solid group of guys already. Just add 3 regulars who you trust to be active who didnt want to pay.
I've asked a lot of people if they want to play and people are either already in leagues or don't want to pay $50. I don't know what you guys want to do. Alternatively we could do a 10-team league which means we'd have to only recruit one person and also leave ESPN for Yahoo and still do LeagueSafe. Or if we can't find another player just do a goddamn free league since we can't get 10 people on SpursTalk to actually play fantasy football. Or just call the whole thing off, which I really don't want to do.
I don't think allowing people to play for free while the 9 of us already committed pay is very fair, unless somehow I could ban those players from qualifying for the postseason after they've signed up. In which case those players would become Johnny Doesn't Set His Roster after Week 2.

And I guess we'll punt the draft until next Sunday, 9/1. I'll flush the ESPN league and make a Yahoo one in the morning. I'll make sure the scoring is exactly the same.

Out of curiosity why before 8/30? I'm suggesting 9/1 because originally, we were going to draft tomorrow and I feel like a one week notice is fair. Everyone is going to have to sign up again, and I'll bust my ass to coordinate everything but five days might not be enough. It should be, just saying.

Draft tentatively set for Sunday, September 1st at 2:30PM EST. As I said in the PM, if this is a conflict with anyone let me know ASAP and we'll all talk it out.

Once everyone is signed up on Yahoo, I will make an official league thread and we'll be done with this one.
Holden can't do next Sunday because he will be out of town between Fri and Sun. I need everyone in the league to tell me which evenings this week will work for them. I can do any day but Weds. I'm just worried about this being some 11th hour because everyone is going to need to sign up again and some people prob won't get my PM until Monday.
If it's during the week it needs to be at 8 PM Central time or later. Other than that I'm good just need to plan around it work wise.
