The worst is that it sounds Affleck is already signed to multiple films. This whole thing seems rushed, from MOS 2 going into production soon to casting the new Batman. Supposedly Affleck was hired because Jeff Rubinov, a longtime exec with WB and friend to Affleck was fired, so they were doing everything to keep Affleck with WB. Typical Hollywood move.
To be fair, I think Affleck won't be a total fest, I think at best he'll be passable, but it's very possible he's worse than Clooney.
Also people keep bringing up Keaton and Ledger, but I remember as a kid being excited about Keaton because I had already knew he was good in different types of films, still not sure Affleck is that good of an actor. Also I remember thinking Ledger was an interesting choice because not only did I trust in Nolan, but Ledger had just taken to another level in Butt Mountain. Both of those actors were against type, but Affleck already did Daredevil and he wasn't that believable in it.
I'm sure he'll be better in this, but I don't think he'll own the role like Keaton or Bale imo.

tbh both Bale and Nolan were extremely overrated in their Batman roles
nothing against Bale though, he's a pretty good actor.
I never read any Batman comics, but IMO the way Cage did that main Big Daddy scene in Kick-Ass, that's how I want to see Batman played. kinda stiff, straight to the point, throwing people down like it's a tedious exercise...

I've seen her performance pretty universally praised.
Anne was great. Her ass when riding that bike was grade A.

I think Affleck as Batman is an absolute joke. But I think that when they decide to reboot Batman again the tiness of the Affleck Batmans will probably make people more excited for it. That's what the Kilmer & Clooney Batmans did for me anyway.

Bale's Batman voice was kind of annoying. I think Affleck is perfect for the role. God bless

Batman forever killed off the batman movie franchise at the time. It was revived however now the same mistake is being made. Dam hollywood never ing learns

Don't really know why it matters who plays batman. This previous batman trilogy was powered by the villains anyway
