I've never been to a happy ending place before, tbh. Is it really backwards to make an appointment?
Seems to me that only the low end, crack ridden, disease infested, crusty hand s would allow anyone to walk in off the street.
But again, I've never done it so I'm just speculating.

Good to know about the customer service. Used LeagueSafe last year but only had to deal with submitting my dues since I didn't win. Guys that won got paid quick too. It's really a great site to use when you are playing with people you don't personally know since who wants to send money to a commissioner they can't keep tabs on right? Not that I would have spent yalls dues on a Saigon who bites noses off or anything.
League is split into two divisions. In each division, the division champion and runner-up will advance to the postseason, where the teams are re-seeded by overall record. Semi-Finals is Week 15, Super Bowl is Week 16. So four teams advance for a two week playoff. Speak now if you want a six team postseason. I don't. And if you do, you might be a redneck.
Blake suggested earlier that 3rd place should win more prize money than simply their buy-in dues. I'm on board with that. I suggested a payout breakdown of
1st Place: $175
2nd Place: $75
3rd Place: $50
We could do 150/100/50 but those stakes are low as for a championship game. Under my suggested breakdown, the guys in the championship game have a $100 difference riding on the game. Given our $300 pool, I think that's pretty fair. Idk. Get at me on some suggestions if you guys don't like that.
so everything is good for the draft and no one is gonna out anymore? i'm gonna pay my dues tomorrow. you should make a list of who paid/hasnt paid and who's who in the league.
I'm gonna pay on Friday. The payment deadline is 9/20. I wanted everyone paid up by the draft, but I wanted everyone to be cool with the league settings, scoring, prize amounts and what not. I've had some commissioners that woulda been like you J.T. I don't want PPR so we're not doing it when like every other player wanted it. And even though its the Internet, I trust everyone that's in this league to pay. Plus, the payouts on LeagueSafe are set to a majority vote, so if you don't pay and win, you ain't getting . I think it's a pretty bullet proof setup. There's also a $10 late fee (mandatory minimum by LS) so there's added incentive to pay on time.
We're all set for the draft. And once a few more people chime in on whether or not that prize breakdown is good, I have an official thread prepared to post in which everyone is encouraged to post in declaring their team name. We'll use the thread to talk to each other, notify people that a trade is up for review or just discuss random going on in the league from week to week.
Tbh we also need to come up with a ST version of "the shiva". I'm drawing blanks right now so if anyone's got ideas step up. I'm pretty drunk downtown Austin right now... First day of school for these kids. I blocked two guys and then let the girls off the hook after the dudes burned off. It's like catch and release fishing on land.
Some people hate super bowls being played on week 16 because of the resting of star players.
Personally, i don't care, I'm just saying it might be something to ponder.
Second to last week of season is not too bad for a super bowl. Better than the final week where there are usually quite a few people resting.
Also, I am good on the prize breakdown.
I forgot there are 17 weeks. I love lamp.
