Kaman a good piece
‘We definitely could be in the top three in the West,’ Hill recently said in a phone interview. ‘I don’t see why not. Kobe is making progress with his rehab [surrounding his left Achilles tendon]. I wouldn’t be surprised if he comes back at the beginning of the season or in training camp. I don’t know if he will. But I wouldn’t be surprised. I have faith in everything he can do. I believe in the Mamba. The sky’s the limit for him.’ [...] ‘It’s going to be tough, I’m not sure,’ Hill said. ‘We don’t know when Kobe is going to come back. But I’m confident we can make some noise. We still have so many good pieces with Kobe, Pau, Nash, Kaman, a lot of good bench pieces. We can surprise some people and make some noise.’”

With Jordan Hill's knockdown 3 point shooting ability, the Lakers can definitely make some noise
you're ass was ting bricks when you clicked on this thread![]()
i know this is such a low expectation from laker fans, but honestly, as long as they advance in the second round while beating any of the #1-3 seed, i'd consider that a success this season, especially if that 1s rd opponent is houston or san antonio![]()
Reminds me of Artest's guarantee last year.... how did that one work out again?![]()
oh i forgot, nothing will be sweeter if the lakers actually beats the clippers of all teams, time to shut that L.A. jv team for good![]()
Yes, it's called clang!!
73-9
actual record was 45-37
28 wins worse than predicted
below .500 for most of the season
Kobe tearing his achilles
still thinking he will be a valuable contributor, even on a spectacularly ty team
MJ is paying efforts to enhance his legendary status in basketball, just like Pele in soccer![]()
Wow.... did you come up with that one all by yourself?
Don't forget Kirby and Nick Young's efficiency, Kaman's toughness down low, and Wesley Johnson's bench production![]()
says the user that has never posted an original thought in their life.
In all honesty, the Lakers are not as bad as people make them out to be. A team with Pau in the middle will always be a playoff contender, add in supporting players like Nick Young, a healthy Kobe, Jordan Hill, and three-first-name's offense, and they could very well finish with a decent record as a 5 to 7 seed. Then you add in a 12+ FTA advantage against the opposition, and they could very well finish top 3 in the West over the likes of Memphis, Clippers, Spurs, GSW, and a whole bunch of other teams.
Fear people, the Lakers will have a comeback season, and win the championship shooting 37 FTs in the 4th quarter of Game 7.
D'Antoni's adjustments, Nash's leadership
