Sympathy post tbh
would duncan be ok playing as his sidekick? how many championships these two would have? do you think most of y'all would defend kobe's alleged selfishness to death? how would kobe impact tim on and off the court? would they get along? if not, who will rc buford trade? the boring and elegant duncan or the electrifying and cash generating kobe?
Sympathy post tbh
don't act like you have anything better to do lebron fan![]()
Trying to put Kobe on yet another championship contender. Surprising.
U mad?
And lebron
I'd say the Spurs would win 5 championships, assuming Kobe buys into Pop's system and philosophy, but if he doesn't, Kobe will probably be traded elsewhere and San Antonio will continue rebuilding around Duncan. Unlike in L.A. Kobe would not be treated like a golden child, especially under the direction of Popovich.
[QUOTE=Jeff Van Gundy;6818372]U mad?
anyone who gets mad here needs a social life tbh![]()
Kobe would be the sidekick to Duncan, not the other way round imho. Duncan was drafted #1 and the Spurs would still build the team around Duncan with Kobe being the 2nd banana like Manu Ginobili, if he didn't feel happy he'd be shown the door immediately.
lol kobe coattaling yet another dominant big in this scenario
water is wet
San Antonio would truly be a dominant force with the Twin Towers and a Boeing-747.
Since Kobe needs a dominant big to win championships, I'd say he would do just fine until the day he got too greedy and decided his own judgment was better than Pop's.
Kobe wouldn't be drafted by the Spurs. When they draft high, they draft big HOFers. When they draft low, they draft small HOFers.
They don't draft rapists.
Pop would've stashed him overseas for 3-4 years, then brought him over and made him a point guard, thus causing him to leave as a free agent.
They would have been incredible.
Anyone that disagrees is delusional or a troll.
Spurs would probably have a lot more rings because Kobe wouldn't be a Laker with a career average of 28PPG on 47% vs the spurs in the playoffs... tee, hee.
Neal?
Undrafted![]()
^You grew him. You're responsible for him.
And the missed opportunity at a 5th NBA Championship. With seconds to go.![]()
he raped Period
Spurs have Pop, not MDA as a coach. Kirby being drafted at 13th probably means he would have still started from the bench as he'd need to earn Pop's trust first and he'd only be 18 years old.
Duncan's older so he reached his prime earlier than Kirby, Duncan was already a FMVP in 99 while Kirby was starting for the first time in his career.
Neal came to us with the Skills and the rape already. We didn't develop him, didn't grow him. Kobe raped as a Laker, grew as a Laker, quit as a Laker.
How close did Kobe get to his next ring again?
*snap*
