Who do you guys think would win in a game of one on one in their primes Kobe or Duncan? I have to go with Kobe because he would have the speed, and the athletic ability to destroy Duncan off the dribble. I think the game wouldn't even be close because Duncan wouldn't be able to guard Kobe around the perimeter area while Kobe could get some steals on Duncan. Kobe would probably win by a margin of 15-5.

^ It depends.....In your scenario does Kobe know his opponent loves wiener?

Duncan all day. He'd post up Kobe and go to the hoop. Duncan is much bigger and stronger, Kobe would dribble around him but eventually it comes down to who misses, Duncan is a more efficient scorer so he'd eventually win.

Why you think Lebron is so efficient? He's much bigger and stronger than his opponents and now that he learned to post up he can just overpower the smaller dudes.

    Prime Timmy s on y'all s

We're talking about 1 on 1.....have you played ball. Efficiency doesn't matter. It's about how you can SCORE the ball and Kobe is arguabley the best scorer the league has seen. Outside and Inside. Duncan would back him down and score....that's if he got the ball back after Kobe goes 11-0. Duncan sags on Kobe, Kobe shoots, Duncan goes out the 3 point line, Kobe drives by him, and with no help D, it's over. Big Men were never and are never going to be great 1 on 1 players. Who's going to pass the ball into the post for Duncan. He'd have to dribble and back down Kobe from the 3 point line.....yikes.

Probably Tim. If he gets the ball first, it's over. He'll just back Kobe down time and time again. If Kobe has the ball he can drive on him but Timmy will give him space and he's bound to miss a jumper or two, which Tim will likely rebound and never give back (assuming it's make it, take it)

I think prime Dirk vs. prime Kobe would be an interesting 1-on-1 matchup

if them guys play a street-ball style game one on one, it would be a comfortable win for Kobe, or any NBA-caliber guard who can dribble and shoot. Duncan would have a hard time even dribbling past the mid court imho. However if you give Duncan a good PG (like parker) to play against two Kobe Byrants, the Duncan/parker combo would beat the kobe double with ease because nobody would be able to stop Duncan in the paint, nobody.

As long as Kobe Bryant does not allow Tim Dumcan to attempt open layups, Duncan will win by a large margin.

If the game is close, let's say 5 or less points difference, Kobe wins in the clutch... tee, hee.

Question, in this 1 on 1 game does senile Pop bench Jim during the last 28 seconds leaving the rim unguarded?

Is this a joke? Kobe would beat Drunkin 1 on 1 any day of the week.
