hibbert is coming off a season where he averaged 12 and 8 on 45% shooting from the field. there is no argument as to who is the better player right now
Averaged 17-12 on that bad back. Defense was terrible without him on the floor.

If you have a terrible team, you pick Howard. If you have a good team that needs a true center, you pick Hibbert.

Offensive stats don't identify a good center. Not having 7 bas s helps.
not denying his talent or impact. winning a le is like picking the right partner in marriage. dwight plays the more attractive broad but she comes with a lot of drama and baggage, she's all about looking good and havin fun and blames everyone but herself when she fails to do the most basic thing for the fam. She's a good trophy wife but a miserable housewife. She also costs more to keep, fickl minded and divorce is her 1st option not last.
hibbert is a bit less attractive but he does everything s bit well and knows how to keep everything together when the going gets tough. there's balance. She's not self absorbed which is a good thing because this means she puts you and the family before herself.
now of course some people may get lucky. they pick a mail order bride (olajuwon) who is loyal and does everything exceptionally well
