Neftali Feliz to return to the Rangers on Monday for the series against Oakland.
It really has been disappointing to not be able to see him pitch this season, or even last season for that fact.
It's a nice thought, that they could open next season with Darvish, Holland, Garza, Harrison, and Feliz as the starting pitching staff.
I went into the Tigers thread and personally thanked them for their win yesterday....lol..
Don't forget about Martin Perez. I think Blackley has been serviceable, but he's an average LRP imo.
Feliz hasn't given up a run to this point in over 16 games in the minors! Thats impressive no matter the ballpark, so I'm excited to see him pitch as well.
Yeah, Perez has looked fantastic this year overall. If he plays well in the playoffs, there will be a tough decision to make next year. Someone is going to have to be benched/traded. Unless they try using 6 starters, which I highly doubt.
I didn't know that stat about Feliz. Kid is going to be a monster soon. Rangers will have 3 starters with ace level talent in Darvish, Holland, and Feliz, while Garza, Harrison, and Perez all have #2 starter talent. The future is definitely bright for this team.
Someone should inform Yu that the objective is to win the game, not rack up K's.
lost a game last night...Oakland beat Tampa. Still up 2 though, with a couple more games until the big series v Oakland. Hopefully we can get a little room between now and then.
Nice win tonight against the twins. The series agains the a's coming up will be huge.
