Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson (Ret) who was the Chief of Staff to US Secretary of State Colin Powell in the run-up to GW2 (in which role he helped to pass on the cooked intelligence used as a justification for invading Iraq) tells Cenk at the Young Turks that what he hears from the intelligence community is that the evidence linking the gas attack to Assad is "really flakey" and he states it is quite possible the gas attack could have been a false flag operation by the opposition forces or even by the Israelis...

The Saudi Kings and Princes are probably the most corrupt beings on earth, and they are now tag teamed with the Israelis who are pretty much Xenophobes in the Middle East. that is a terrible combination and the US is just a ing puppet in the middle of it.

While the CIA/NSA is saying almost certainly it was Assad, we know that since St Ronnie ed up the security agencies, eg with Robert Gates, by getting the agencies to fit their "data" to the Exec's political objectives (as in enrich the MIC with a military buildup by widely over inflating the USSR's economic/military/industrial capabilities. Then we had head cherry picking and pressuring the CIA/NSA to fit his Iraq-for-oil objectives), CIA/NSA "intellignce" is not at all trustworthy.
