2012’s reigning rookie of the year is coming off knee surgery and is poised to have another breakout season. It is going to be hard to top his rookie season where he proved to be the most exciting player at his position and also one of the most accurate passers in the league.

The redskins will only go as far as RG3’s arm and knee takes him. Thankfully, he is an adept passer and one of the smarter quarterbacks in the league. He can read NFL defenses with the best of them and has the arm strength to make every throw…we don’t need RG3 carrying the ball as many times as he did last year.

If healthy, I expect less run attempts and for RG3 to throw for over 3,500 yards, 25 touchdowns with only 10 int’s. He had 7 rushing touchdowns with over 800+ rushing yards. I expect those numbers to drop the rushing touchdowns to stay the same at 7 with his yards dropping down in the 400-500 range.

Our next QB is Russell Wilson or “Russy 2 Cold”. Another efficient and accurate quarterback, Russy is every coach’s dream. He takes care of the ball, he’s smart and mobile. He doesn’t have as much responsibility as the other black qb’s due to him being surrounded with a solid running game and a stout defense.

He lost his number 1 target, Percy Harvin, in the offseason so I expect the Seahawks to take the minimal approach and rely on their run game and defense.

Russy will keep his consistency up and throw for over 3,000 yards, 20 touchdowns with 8 int’s. His rushing numbers will also be identical to last year with 400+ yards rushing on 4 td’s.

Next in line is the old man of the group, Mike Vick. Vick is one of my all-time favorite qb’s period. Even though he isn’t the first black qb in NFL history, he brought a different dynamic with his speed and agility to the position.

The issue with Vick has never been his skills, but his work ethic in the film room and taking the time to study the opposing defenses are his weakness.

He has a new coach in chip Kelly who is bringing an up tempo and fast play style to the team. There will be more opportunities for Vick to showcase his blazing speed in this offense, only downside is the o-line. Can Vick survived the season behind this o-line? I’m going to say no unfortunately and Vick will be relegated to standing on the sidelines munching on sunflower seeds.

I want to project his numbers playing a full 16 game season but I can’t. Vick will throw for 2,500 yards 8 td’s. He will rush for 400+ and have 3 rushing td’s before his season is ended.

Behind RG3, Colin Kaepernick is the most exciting monkeyballer, excuse me, black qb. I remember watching his lanky ass play in Nevada and he was straight up beasting the compe ion. Fast forward to 2012 and he takes the 49er team to the Super Bowl, wow.

Like Cam Newton, Colin has the prototypical size for the position but what sets him apart from the ancient relics like peyton manning and tom brady, is he has the mobility along with a strong arm. If Colin can master the mental aspect of the game, he will have a long successful career with at least 1 super bowl under his belt. He has a head coach is a quarterback guru so Colin is probably in the best situation out of all the black qb’s.

Colin’s team is stacked but he has receiving weapons at his disposal so he will have more passing yards. Colin will throw for 3,000+ yards for 22 td’s and 8 int’s. He will rush for over 500+ yards and have 6 td’s rushing. Look for Colin to take his team on yet another deep playoff run.

Next in line is Cam Newton. Cam’s 2011 was something for the record books and I doubt he’ll ever get those types of numbers again. At this point all I ask for Cam is consistency. Physically, he is a beast. He’s got the arm and running abilities to carry any team on his back but his maturity issues are a concern.

He doesn’t have that veteran who can reel him in and mentor him (steve smith is loose cannon himself). The Panthers still haven’t given Cam a big receiving target opposite of steve smith that he can rely on so I’m expecting Cam’s passing numbers to stay in the 3500+ range with 17 td’s and 15 int’s. Where he will shine is in the run game. Cam will have 800+ rushing yards with 12 td’s.

The sky is the limit for Cam and if he can prove to the naysayers that his maturity issues are behind him and he is focused on being a leader, those numbers could improve.

Josh Freeman, the forgotten black qb. I’ll be honest and just say I really don’t like this guy as a person. I don’t know what it is. Anyways, this guy is HUGE. He’s bigger than Cam but he really isn’t that mobile. He has a rocket arm but his accuracy is shaky.

On the bright side, he had a decent season numbers wise with throwing for over 4,000 yards which put him in the top of league as far as yardage. On the downside, the jerry curled wonder threw 17 int’s.

He has big targets to throw to downfield and a capable running back to rely on when things get tough, but this is Josh Freeman we’re talking about so I’m expecting a lot of the same for this guy.

Josh will throw for 3,500+ yards with 22 td’s and 20 int’s. Never a threat to take off and run, I’ll give him 100 rush yards for the season with 0 rushing td’s.

Terrell getting the starting nod is due to the fact that the league is turning into a mobile qb league and also this:

Like Kevin Kolb, Flynn's NFL career has been stunted because of the black qb, yup being white, slow and having a weak arm isn't going to fly anymore. Flynn can't throw past 25 yards without giving his coach a heart attack. Oakland has a history of strong armed qb's who get the ball down the field and that is what Pryor gives him along with his agility and speed. Pryor will be asked to do a lot for this team due to McFadden AKA. Mr. Glass, getting hurt every year. Pryor is going to have to carry the bulk share of the run game while also being asked to make plays downfield to his speedy receivers. Terrell will throw for 3,000+ yards for 15 td's and 12 int's. He will rush for 700 yards and have 8 rushing td's.

    ROOKIES

EJ Manuel was the first qb taken in this year’s draft…let that sink in. Florida State isn’t known for producing elite qb’s but I think EJ will change that (Fl state has a redshirt freshman who will be a beast monkeyballer in a few years)

EJ has it the hardest out of all the black qb’s because he’s a rookie and he’s stuck in qb . Buffalo is cold as and they have some of the worst weather conditions in the league. What EJ has is the size and arm strength to throw in those strong winds and break tackles. What he lacks is accuracy. He’s also coming off a minor knee injury so his mobility will be in question. He’s going to have to stand tall in the pocket and make the correct reads because if a play breaks down, I don’t think he has the strength in his knee to take off and make a play just yet.

With the proper coaching and with a little time, EJ can be one of the best qb’s in the league. He has his possession receiver and a few young burners but this team is very young offensively. I just don’t see the bills coaching staff giving EJ the freedom to throw the ball just yet.
I project EJ to throw for around 2,800 yards with 12 td’s and 6 int’s. He will rush for 200 yards with 3 td’s at the goal line.

Lastly and very least is Geno Smith. This clown threw a fit because he wasn’t drafted in the first round so you can already see the maturity issues. He should be adept to playing in a cold weather city since he went to west Virginia and he has decent arm strength and he’s mobile, so that is probably one of the few positives he has.
He ran a spread style offense at west Virginia and was surrounded with speed; he won’t have that in new jersey. He has to switch to a pro-style offense with a bunch of slow pokes and he has already struggled. He isn’t that fast so I don’t expect to see him breaking long runs. All in all, he is going to cost rex ryan his job. Even though rex should have been gone 2 years ago, the blame will be put on geno’s struggles.

I almost don’t want to claim this guy because he’s going to suck so badly. Did ya’ll see him run out of bounds for a safety?!!! Since the Jets will be playing from behind all year, I’m projecting geno to throw for 3,000 yards with 10 td’s and 18 int’s. He will rush for…who gives a ?

it must really suck to be a diehard fan of a team that has a black QB.

yea you may get some nice top 10 Sports Center plays every now and then, but your team isn't going anywhere.

Either Wilson or Kaepernick will play in this seasons Superbowl.

RGIII won't last the season, he is not a drop back passer.

Vick will win 8/9 games and look good doing it but the D will let him down.

Cam Newton will have a season similiar to his last one. Yep...stagnant.

Josh Freeman is a middle of the pack talent and will stay there.

E.J.Manuel will take some time, but will be the best QB the Bills have had since Jim Kelly.

Gene Smith will suck long and hard, he is not an NFL QB.

    Pryor...see Geno Smith.

Who here saw that Winston (frosh) kid at FSU play last night? Well if you follow HS ball (that feeds the NCAA, that feeds the NFL) at all, that's what's happening. That big black kid with a rocket for an arm who can also hurt you with his legs. The days of snow white standing back there surveying the field with his 5.0 40 jets are coming to an end.

and yea i saw the florida state game. i remember watching Jameis in high school and seeing him on the Elite11 show. the kid is a beast and is going to be the number 1 pick when he comes out. i can't wait for the black qb haters to be salivating for him or bridgewater on their teams in a couple years

I actually wouldn't be shocked to see Freeman have the best season out of these quarterbacks. He has the most offensive talent around him, and he's due for another 2010-esque run. The others are going to have to do too much on their own.
