tru but prob not RJ @ his $
Most of you probably stoped reading after "THINK TANK: Richard Jefferson bac" but I made it to this line.![]()
giving up a first to get rid of RJ, deal away another one to bring him back
I think the Spurs learned their lesson the first time with RJ, it won't happen again.
I honestly wouldn't mind seeing him, always liked RJ
I actually completely agree depending on how he looks. If he is the same player he was with us, I'd love him off the bench playing around 10 - 15 minutes a game as a shooter who hopefully still has a little athleticism left. The guy really wasn't a horrible player for us, we would have been pretty happy with his production had we not all had such high expectations. Though I do consider him one of the biggest disappointments the Spurs have ever had, I don't think he is nearly as bad as everyone made him out to be if that makes sense. Idk I'd be open to the idea of him spotting kawhi and nailing some 3's.
You picked a good username. MUTE.
STAY THAT WAY!
That's because Pop thought he had the younger team.
I'm blowing lunch. I ate Spaghetti-O's for lunch. I threw up 'OH NO'
I figured it out. mute = RJ. Gooooo Awayyyyyyyyyyyyy
He's a proven bad fit to our system.
i like this idea!! richard jefferson will give us that boost we need to get back into the finals and with a 2014 first rounder??! what more can we ask!!
I just clicked this thread for the insults.
that's what I'm saying... he was used the wrong way his first go around. he went from being the primary scorer to the 5th option... you guys dont remember all of the praise he was getting his 2nd year and how much more comfortable he looked? put him on the bench and let him run the 2nd team, give him all of the touches. LOL u guys already forgot that we TRADED AWAY SEAN + AVERY + BARRY right? it's not the first time we've traded guys, only to have them come back.
Sure, give a guy who helped the Spurs win Game 1 of the WCSF while playing for the opposing team all the touches.
The Barry trade was a nudge nudge, wink wink deal by the Spurs and Sonics. Seattle had no intention of keeping him, and the Spurs were planning on getting him back all along. Totally different situation from what happened with Elliott and Johnson.
This thread is why mutes should never, ever, talk.
Don't forget he couldn't crack the rotation with the Warriors. His confidence might be shot at this point and Pop's one of the worst confidence builders.
