If we were playing TSU, we wouldn't have a problem.
Could be...I'm not talking here...I like UTSA too..I'm just keeping it real. You're playing Oklahoma ing State...Bobcats are playing Prairie View A&M...now who has a harder game?
according to Avante, Prairie View A&M are the clear favorites
That tells you all you need to know right there.
Good win. Hopefully they can build on that for their big OOC game in a couple of weeks.
Ok, Ok..............damn. Yall have a much easier go. I know we are gonna get our asses kicked. Im already prepared.
The Oklahoma State game is nothing but a pay day for the program, same with Arizona. All I would look for is the kids play hard, don't give up and make a few plays. There will come a time when UTSA will be able to hang with programs like these, but that will not be this season.
Aside from increased gameday revenues, are they payday games if they are home games?
Another reason is all these games were scheduled before UTSA was D1 and before it had a conference. They had to play a certain number of D1 teams in each of the transition years so they shot for the moon with the more easily scheduled early season games. Impressive that they got some two away/one home series out of them.

If Okie St was playing utsa one time in stillwater, the payout to the runners would be (best guess) roughly +/-$500k.
since okie st is doing utsa a favor by coming down here, my next out-of-my-ass guess is that they are paying UTSA that total for the entire three game contract.
The bonus for Okie is coming down to do some recruiting in this area
ing Ok State were kinda cheap compared to some of the other bigger programs. Only paying 550k each time UTSA goes to Stillwater, meanwhile Arizona and A&M are giving 700k and 900k respectively.

$950k total payout for the three games is a great deal for Okst.
You'd have to think it's surely because of Larry Coker's old ties.
Well...at least you're doing something...you're playing the tougher schools to get your team where you want them to be. You have a good coach...and a vet team that believes in their system. You might surprise some people.
, some schools pay out more than a mill to small schools
, I read that A&M/Arky received $5 million each play at Jerry World......which is far and away better money than a bowl game where the conference gets the bowl money to split among the schools.
Correction, A&M/Arky were expected to make around 5 mill each year over the course of the series in cowboys stadium
First year was 4.2, second was less than 3.
I wonder if Johnny Autograph can help push payout money up to 5.
